Everyone needs to pray the Holy Rosary daily.... as Padre Pio said... "The Rosary is THE weapon for these times" and Fr. Amorth, Vatican exorcist was revealed to by Satan that every "Hail Mary" was like a "hammer blow to his head!!!"...Thank God ✝

This is where i feel inadequate.
It's as if i am not good enough if i do not have a group of friends that i can share the faith with outside of Mass; and because of that i am not a very good Christian and Disciple of Christ.💔
    But i still rejoice!
Because i have a "great cloud of witnesses" who are with me, guiding and teaching me on my journey.
    Amen.🙏🕊❤✝️⛪

Father told St Caterine (Dialogue) that if He would have wanted to is be alone or self sufficient He would have give each human being all what it’s needed to survival, but He didn’t want that, He gives us different set of skills and together we all accomplish great things, that is why community is so important as we were in the first centuries. One of the problems of Modernism and all these philosophical movements it’s that we as Catholics lost the track of who we are and we are ignorant of our history. We started as communities we didn’t start as Cathedrals builders.

My experience of "communty" has not been a positive one. As a returner to the faith i tried to join a few communities, even travelled. I have always been met with opposition. Normally they say this is not your parish or what does exist has become closed almost like a private club with invite only. I still try but I'm not holding out a great amount of hope. I would like to add if anything it has increased my faith. I do pray for community but now i leave it now in Gods hands.

I have experienced this also and have decided not to worry about the community but just do something little in the church, unnoticed. just for Jesus. Like quietly setting the books right in the pews. Think Theresa of Lisieux.

I am in the exact same place. Same experience. Also living in Germany, which is hard. But I think to myself, if God put this longing on my heart, He WILL provide. ❤

This is something I struggle with because most people don't want to talk to me.. Kinda makes it hard to be a part of a community 😂 😂

This, I struggle with. I have been working on relearning and deepening my faith. And while I am doing that, I feel the need to huddle myself over this little flickering flame, protecting it, and allowing it to gain strength. Because, Father, honestly, there are so many cooks in the kitchen right now, it can be very disheartening. TLM is the only valid mass/novus ordo is perfectly valid. Receiving my first holy Eucharist in 1976, I was taught to receive in-hand/now I hear that I have been doing the work of the devil this way. Etcetera. Perhaps it's more of a person-to-person kind of thing, whether "community" is helpful. For me in my life, that has rarely been the case. So, for now at least, I prefer to keep to myself (and my husband and son), work, learn, pray, learn some more and keep my little flame safe, steady, and sustained.
That said, I am loving this new series of yours. Thank you.

I'm so tired of hearing about "community" . If going to Mass or one hour participating in a particular church meeting is community. Well then I have that.
Something tells me that is not " "community" .
The last thing I was told about community was " maybe God called you to be alone because He wants you all for Himself " .
But everytime I turn around I'm hearing that I'm doing something wrong because I have no "community" and how important community is .

      I disagree with that.
God gave Adam Eve because "it is not good for man to be alone".
There are times of alone time of prayer and meditation, but have a community of faithful that support you.
Attending mass and Holy Hour does not guarantee a community, as one cam still go to those events "alone" (speaking from experience).
Try to smile more during the Sign of Peace. Greet the security guards at church, etc
Small small things like that will build a community for you even if you don't have a social group in church.

      @@patman_for_sure ya I heard that .
So I got a spiritual advisor saying God possibly is separating me , I got you and others saying I'm doing something wrong?
I'm really fixing to say F* it and just do what I think the Lord is calling me to do .

@@lonniestoute8762 the idea of the Lord setting you apart for a purpose can be true. But I know that He also doesn't want us to be alone.
Even Christ on earth had a community, even though He was on the greatest mission of Salvation to ever be.
So, I say combine ideas. Don't be alone but don't forget your mission.
Put it in prayer and go to your local priest for even further guidance.

@@patman_for_sure And let me tell you something bout this so called community.
I worked along side 2 Religious Orders and was treated no better than a hired servant , paraded around like a poster child for their "mission" . There was no bond , no fellowship, no welcome. Pushed to the outskirts and held at a distance.
One I helped start a house for recovering addicts, and they acted like I needed them to stay clean as if I was a product of their work. There was no fellowship.
Second one was disaster relief work. The Church didn't want to take responsibility for home repairs, nor could they find volunteers/ workers so I took all the responsibility, liability insurances, workman's comp , all the legalities. We gave free building materials and labor to the suffering . There was no fellowship, I actually invited myself to a couple of dinners. And they acted as if they were doing me a favor . I put up with it , until I fell sick and I was forgotten about . Like I said this so called " Church Community " has not come for me and I'm sick and tired of trying to get in .
You honestly think I don't smile or talk to people? Everyone loves me as long I'm doing something to help them build their mission.
The last straw was I had a Sister call me to take in a homeless person, when I explained I couldn't because I'm sick and barely taking care of myself, I got zero response as if I hurt her feelings . No what's wrong ? , No Prayer, No what can we do ? Just simply Ghosted.
They have 5 houses , including the one I helped them start, but I'm to take another man into my 20 foot camper with one bed and one chair.
I try not to hold resentments and I am still cordial , but it hurts no matter how I look at it.
