I think he was treated the worst of any characters I've seen in the show atp (in season 4). It's disgusting to me that somehow Tyler was made to be the bad guy when klaus does all this horrible stuff and enjoys it Tyler deserved better.

But no one listens to Damon until it's too late when he's actually right 99% of the time.
Here we clearly see Klaus easily slaughtering 12 hybrids without being hit once and yet in the originals season 2 he gets hit multiple times fighting 6 evolved warewolf's and later in season 3 can't even one shot Hayley or keep her in chockehold when Aya could in that same season so that is clearly plot armor and nerfing on Hayley's part of being a Mary Sue.
@Francisco Leyva Martin Klaus did beat Hayley, Jackson and their pack easily but he fought around 6 of those weak warewolf's at once and yet got hit multiple times and later struggled when the weak Hayley entered the fight and was even thrown to the ground when 12 charecters of Hayley's level couldn't hit Klaus in this scene so that is proof that Klaus gets nerfed and is a lot weaker in to than he is in tvd. If you want more proof well even if Klaus wasn't going all out how could Hayley break his grip over her? When an original grabs any vampire by the throat with 1 hand it's usually KO and yet Hayley couldn't be chocked by 2 arms from an angry Klaus? That is plot armor on Hayley's part. Also how did Hayley make Klaus struggle and bleed so much when Elijah and Rebekah couldn't do the same? The answer is Hayley is a Mary Sue who would have died before season 2 if she didn't have plot armor.
Inconsistencies in power like this pop up throughout both shows. Every character has plot armor, so idk why you care so much that Hayley has it. She’s just more of the same.

Klaus probably let them live because of Caroline along with his friendship with the Salvatore brothers who he grew quite fond of + Kol betrayed him repeatedly and that whole season was very out of charecter for Klaus anyway so his actions weren't really logical at all. Klaus and Elijah were nerfed a lot in the originals and Klaus gets nerfed in every season he appears in each time by a lot more than he was in the last + most of their opponents have plot armor to make the fights more interesting but only in to not in tvd. People say that Season 1 and 2 were the best, but I've always preferred 3 & 4, the show really picked up, the narratives changed, it became better after Klaus came in and the whole Klaroline thing was my favorite thing out of the whole show.

After all that tyler suffered at the hands of klaus and the mikealsons, he should've been the one to take lucien's serum and punish klaus by taking down his family 1 by 1, starting with Marcel aka Klaus' Son. It would've been perfect that way. After all, Tyler was a Hybrid.

Tyler made his hybrids betray him by getting them to secretly break their sire bond, and they were planning to imprison Klaus forever. If he let Tyler walk away without any consequences of plotting against him, he'd be seen as a weakling by his enemies. That's a valid, though still fucked up, reason.
