Shift Work I am putting resonators on this week. Other than the 2500-3k rasp, I can deal with the loudness level. I know I have scared the shit out of people when giving it WOT and at startups. Lol. It’s kind of obnoxious, but I giggle every time. So I guess that is a good sign. 😂
I gotta get me some offroad pipes. Running catted x pipe from kooks, but letting em free is the way to go! I personally felt the same way when I threw on my outlaws, but a week of driving it and I absolutely love the obnoxious sounds my car makes now
AllThingsBoost I have the high flow Kooks pipe too. I didn’t want to take the chance in melting the cats closed with racing. Yea these are gonna take some getting used to for sure. They are rowdy though. Lol. I’m sure I scared a few people the other day at WOT and startup when I was out
So to anyone curious as to the outcome of the tip issue, Corsa responded that they do not fully weld the tips. They stated it may have been 2 techs and whomever did fully weld the one was more a mistake that the one that didn’t. They offered a decent credit back and Lethal matched the credit so I am content.
So by design, the tips are NOT supposed to be full welded, you think they should and "don't like it", you asked for money back to "suck it up and deal with it" and they did? First world problems...facepalm. They did it to shut you up LOL.
@@smitty2919 dont be a dick. These were $1k mufflers bruh. I expect fully welded tips when I can buy $50 mufflers and they are fully welded. Those TAC welds can and have broken on people.
Stay with the corsa. They’re loud and obnoxious at first but they’ll calm down. I love mine on my car. As far as the welds not done yeah I’d be upset about. Oh and when you get into boost they get stupid loud lol. Definitely can’t be heard from miles away

#samesies! Hahaha. So I have 1 3/4 ARH longtubes with high flow cats and the same Corsa mufflers on my Vette and it is MUCH more tolerable. It still crackles and burbles on decel, but it’s lot more tolerable with a pushrod than a quad cam car for sure. If you look up the video I just uploaded yesterday, at the end shows some video clips of the Amish setup on my 6.2
Oh, its very sad. I buy the stuff that everyone hypes up as the best and baddest shit, but for some reason it never proves to be so. I can tell you the Borlas for -$300 cheaper than these were better quality.
Why do people get mad about loud exhausts on cars? I think it is so stupid the only way it is justified is if it's like late at night and you're purposely driving up and down the road by someone house raising hell or something like that but middle of the day if you're just driving along what does it matter? People get their panties in a wad so easily nowadays. They also think LOUD=FAST which is also stupid. If they can hear your car being loud you must be going too fast even if you're going 15 mph lol. I'm glad I don't have any real close neighbors and the closest ones to me are cool and dont care about stuff like that def not in the daylight. Your setup sounds good. My offroad h and borla stingers have a similar sound I have stock exhaust manifolds for now. I got a 4 plus min video showcases my setup on my channel if you wanna check it out. I like x pipes I've bad em before but I prefer h for the deeper sound. Those sports sound badass. I need to get some driving away and drive by clips done as well I had my gopro taped to the rear bumper it actually worked but you can see some of the tape at the top of the screen but who cares people watch the video to check out the sound anyways Haha.
Yea that part about the neighbors was a joke. While I am an asshole, I am fairly respectful. I have since put resonators on them though as it was just retarded with the burbles and backfires. While it was funny, I am too old for that. Lol

There are neighbors everyone giving people the stink eye on their way by because their car is loud even if they're driving respectful. It is insane honestly.

2007 shelby beast damn! Lol. So I think I heard the sport and Xtreme are the same muffler on the catback systems. I saw there are diff part numbers for the mufflers though on the axlebacks.
AAD I do too, but the difference is I have a setup now that will take over 1kwhp without much fuss. I am only really fuel limited at the moment. This car is pretty much full tilt no expense spared build for the most part. I am at the limits of 93 right now.
@@PMPerformance I totally agree it's a bad ass gt500. But a dart block in that sn95 and you would have had a monster for sure. I'm in the progress now myself but there are days I feel like just buying a newer car that's easier to make power but IMO there is nothing like a pushrod fox or sn95. But then again the gt500 is more refined and a nicer car so I feel you on the upgrade for sure. Keep up the videos they Rock
AAD adding a Dart and better trans would have cost me almost as much as the GT500 cost me. Then to add all the other stuff to make more power it would have been a wash. The only limit I have right now is fuel system. I can probably only see mid/high 700’s to the wheels on my current config. After that, my blower is a limit closer to 825-850whp. These all cost much less than the shit I would have had to fix when it nuked on the SN when turned up.
A buddy of mine put corsa sports on his 2010 shelby and there is no creeping out of the neighborhood 😂 SCREAMING at WOT is an understatement.

I had same axle bags on my 2011 gt500 with kooks long tube header .. and it was embarrassingly loud and raspy.. instantly regretted it..
