Former JD sports, footlocker and Office Shoes employee from the UK. We always use UK8 (US9) As the display shoe size because it is the most aesthetically pleasing to see to the male & female eye. For womens we use UK5 or UK5.5 because women didn't like shoes that look big / masculine AND on the flipside they didn't like shoes that looked too small on display cos they looked like children's shoe. So if you're in JD Sports and the display pair for a mens shoe is a UK7 and below or UK10 and. Above....stock is low. This is industry standard for the big chain sportswear stores. Consignment or small stores display what they choose to.😊

Air tech challenge 2’s-the new hot lavas have aged midsole front to back. The new racer pinks have aged midsole in the back but white midsole on the front half. Personally, I’m looking for the OG blue pair that is supposed to drop later this year. If the resale price drops a bit on the hot lavas I will try to cop for sure but the size 15’s are over $300 right now. Take care Mike! Lots of love to you and your family.

A shoe store is supposed to be a 8-9 on display. As a former sneaker store employee you can predict if a store has a size by what they have on the shelf. Sometimes someone gets lazy, that’s why you at least always ask, but yeah a big ass size on the shelf means smaller sizes are outta there
As a former manager, I can tell you that the display is usually a size 8 or 9. Then once size 8 or is sold, we would use the closest available size to that as the display. So yes, if you are seeing a larger size as the display, it usually means that smaller sizes are sold out.
