When you want to use an image from google, always open the image in a new tab before saving, otherwise you are saving a thumbnail size image, hence your castle was pixelated, also, when doing so consider pixel size of the image. Similarly, with a monochromatic image like this castle, the simple setting is sufficient if not preferable.

Thanks for a good step by step video about how to print an uploaded image. I've been struggling with it. I've had my Maker for about 3 years but I never use it. I've decided to go for it and learn all about vinyl and other projects. I have PDF images that I've converted to JPEG but I was missing 2 steps that I learned in your video. The image printed perfectly. The only thing I have to remember is to have my printer set up for HIGH or BEST instead of draft. Otherwise, I won't need my Scan n Cut too. The Cricut Maker is going to basically do it all for me. No fussy cutting. Thanks again!
what year is your machine? because. iust got mine and didnt have some of the options as u.
@@kimberlyvaughan2169 I've had it since either 18 or 19. I'm still learning. Now going to try cutting balsa. Vinyl has been fun but I still don't use it enough. The jpeg conversion is tricky and I must have my printer set to best print cuz it automatically prints.

I used Super Vectorizer Pro to convert any image to SVG for Cricut.

Thank you for explaining this so well. However sometimes when I have the choice to cut file or print the cut, the cut file goes onto my canvas black? Does this mean that the file can not be dowlnnoaded , or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your time to explain this to me

I have been following to convert to svg, however I seem to have a different version than you are using. I have a maker and up to date with upgrades.

How do you upload to DS but not as a cut image. I just get a blank box or a print out cut x
I get my image then black box,i want a nfl eagle image but i think its because you have to get permission to use their images.i don't onow how to do that either.i wonder

Is this legal if you use a logo? Cricutts subscription doesn’t have images for sport teams and other brands.
It doesn’t have it because all sports teams as well as Disney and universal are copyrighted so using them for personal use I believe is okay but you cannot sell them legally unless you obtain a license from them

I’m really trying to covert from silhouette to circuit but see this is just so many steps.. with silhouette you don’t even have to save image from google just copy and paste click trace and it’s traced into a cut file boom... it’s gotta b a better way on cricut.. also those windows you couldn’t just detach and resize them? That’s another feature I’m trying to look for with cricut

When I go to “make it” my cricut tells me “This project is not suported by your current machine selection.” do you know how I can fix this?
Double check what size your image is, my friend had this same issue and her image was like 32 inches wide
I have an svg file, it doesn't give me the options of simple, moderatly complex, or complex. It just uploads it. And when I add to canvas it gives me the square and the image it's in to cut out. I can't get rid of the square. I just want the image cut out.
Have you tried using contour to hide the square ? Do you know what type of file it is

im having the same issue using my iphone and my chromebook laptop it does not give me the options it just takes me straight to cutting it out and its all black no color , have you figured it out ?

Do you have to mirror the image at all?
only if you are going to iron it onto a shirt. but if you want it as a sticker then you won't have to. Hope this Helps!!

If you fast forward the video to 5:27 you will see how it gives you two screens print and cut or just cut make sure you click cut
