I notice your Mac is able to perform a tremendous amount of CPU/GPU intensive processes simultaneously without missing a frame. Can you share the specific model and options your Macbook has? I'm doing my video presentations using PCs because my mac hardware couldn't handle virtual cam/overlays/video integration with Teams. If there is a Mac that can perform well enough to create the work you do I would love to know the specs. I miss my Mac. Thank you!

Do you need a docking stations for this setup, which brand do you recommend if I want to connect two monitors to the same MacBook Pro M1 laptop?

In terms of ratio it is double the height of 16:9 monitors so if you have two software layouts at least they wouldn't be distorted in odd ways. The resolution seems too low to display things as if they were separate monitors though. But it seems like you can get decent usage out of it under the right circumstances.

Thank 😊 You for posting 📫 this video 📫 📹. I would love ❤️ to get this. But since it's only 60hz. Dam.. If it was 120hz, or 144hz. I would get it in a heart beat 💓.
You have a new subscriber. Keep up the great work. I would use it for gaming. I'm trying to build a space station looking build. I'm looking at getting different size monitors put together ❤️. Thank you very much..

At first it seems like an odd shape, but now I can see how useful that could be. Pretty cool.

Hi Cat, Recently I discovered your channel. What I noticed is that your channel is about content creation but your video's are sort of "soft". I can't believe it is your camera so I am guessing what is going on is that you stream to a platform and that you later download the content to place it on YT. I could be wrong but somehow it seems compressed. Can you tell me (us) what is going on. It is really weird because you seem to put so much effort in good quality video and still the graphics quality is below what you would expect. I hope I did not offend you and it might be a deliberate choice but it looks strange, especially for the type of content you make.

I love the idea of editing videos on this monitor. So much space for the timeline while still keeping a large video preview! One question: Why didn't you just scale the display to 150% on the same 2560x2880 pixels instead of scaling down the pixel density? Aren't you essentially lowering the image quality output now?

WOW 🤩 Cat you just changed the game for me. I have my monitor spread out and it is painful on my neck. I am definitely getting this. Now can you tell me please, what do you have your MacBook attached to. Thanks 💜

The monitor is almost perfect in my opinion, just that I wish LG could make the bottom chin slimmer.

Cat, you have just introduced me to the solution to an immediate monitor problem/requirement. I use a single LG now and love it, but need more 'real estate'. I do approx. 50-60 Zoom calls to families at Christmas as well as many video recordings. Engagement is so important as well as the ability to organize my video work . Thanks so much for this for this! - Santa Paul, Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

Hi Cat, I'm a new subscriber, and have been enjoying your content and your delivery.
About your new monitor and logistical challenges: Since your camera is now difficult to reach, why not plug the power adapter into some sort of switch that you can have access to from your desktop? Then, you just leave the camera switch in the "on" position all the time.

Thanks for the insight. I’m currently using 6 27 inch 2560 x 1440 displays in a 3 x 2 grid and I’ve been thinking about replacing it for 3 of these instead.
Is the physical height also double that of say a 27inch iMac? When I first looked I couldn’t find screen dimensions.

    • @n0sferatu
      @n0sferatu 2 роки тому +1

These screen sizes are calculated so they might not be 100% correct however they should give you a good idea.
The height of the actual display is 52.4cm/20.6" and the width is 46.6cm/19.3".
Calculated display size for the iMac 27" is 33.6cm/13.2" height and 59.8cm/23.5" width. Hope this helps.
You lose 13.2cm/5.2" in width and gain 18.8cm/7.4" in height.

I know this is off topic, but you mentioned OBS and ECAMM, and I REALLY love that you got us (not apple users) covered on your tutorials with OBS. I really appreciate it. I hope you continue using/demonstrating both platforms 🙌

Of course it almost looks square: 16:9 is just not 16:8 - or in other words a 2:1 ratio. Double the height and 2:1 becomes 2:2, so it's a bit taller, but almost square.
