Super awesome video and thanks for the details on the peacocks. I have a “Red Shoulder Peacock” and he’s one of my favorites as well. He can hold his own but he’s not the tank boss. Which is cool, because they all can hold their own which keeps the tank balanced. They chase but nothing crazy so far.
Kudos To You My Friend, Your African Cichlids Look Awesome. I Just Setup My 150 Gallon Bow Front Aquarium. I Went From South American Cichlids Back to African Cichlids. My Large Oscar's we're Tearing Up My Decor in the Tank. But Your Tank's Always Look Great. Thank's For Sharing.
my set up has a huge peace of Mopani , and drift and one cement cave , but they weee occupied by plecos way before i started adding chiclids, so i been pretty lucky so far
Question 2:46- does the OB’s EVER appear naturally? I’ve seen them, and to me they stick out in a negative way, they don’t look natural like the others, but if they did naturally rarely occur that would be super cool like a golden rainbow trout or something
Coming in a little late trying to add some red into my tank which peacock would you say gets there most vibrant red I’m so picky most of them say red but end up being orange
The lemon Jake is about the only peacock I haven't had...what's the temperament? I found my red Jake n otter point Jake could be quite aggressive...I found peacocks are very different in temperament ...my sulfer head was very calm same w my sunshine as my reagel blues n red shoulder n German red peacocks were mean.
how big is your ngara flametail now? I also have 1, its 7months now in my tank but it seems it is now growing more than 4inches. but it has great color.
I have two OB peacocks one pinkish with dark spots, and other is pinkish-red with dark spots, are they rare for real?😂I wish I could share them somehow to get some information!! Thank you anyway you helped me a lot thank you 💜 💜 ✨ ✨
Love the video. i have a 75, too, and I'm in the process of getting all my peacocks. I have a lawanda, otter point, lemon,bi-color, flame tail, and german red. I have a red shoulder he's hugh but he lives alone in his own tank because he's a killer. He literally has killed three fish, but he's too beautiful and large to get rid of. I also have other peacocks in my 125. I want to keep some color in that tank with the haps. I right now have ten tanks devoted to what else african chiclids. It was your peacock tank that inspired me. Later bro love your videos. What kind of rock is that looks like tan elephant rock.
Looking good Troy. Question I saw a small catfish in your video I couldn't make it out in the video what type of catfish is that? And how large does it get?
I have a 90 gal peacock tank with A few mbuna I would love to have more types but my local/fav shop gets what they get and other shops have their moments also I tried to purchase online but not too happy with Results but may try again

Yes they do appear naturally. OBs are a mixture of Mbuna and Peacocks.
Great video. I am missing 1, 2 and 7. I had opportunity to buy flame tail but it was 75, most of my fish are in between $5-35.
Nice cichlids bro's beautiful tanks but I had two peacock cichlids before with my oscar and my beat they ass but they got awesome colors 👍🏼👍🏼❤❤
Which ones and how many do you recommend for a 55g tank?
Would the red jewels mix better with a peacock are mubna tank?
Coming in a little late trying to add some red into my tank which peacock would you say gets there most vibrant red I’m so picky most of them say red but end up being orange
Dragonblood
aulonocara in general are super vibrant

Gorgeous
They looks awesome!
How many are in your 75 gal?
hi, they connive with koi fish?
Is there a way I can pm you with photos of my peacocks? I have doubts and I follow you guys a lot.
how big is your ngara flametail now? I also have 1, its 7months now in my tank but it seems it is now growing more than 4inches. but it has great color.
Mine is about 4.5-5 inches currently
Do you have any recommendations for buying peacocks online? Love this video.
appreciate on this
I have 2 ob peacocks and 3 kenyi cichlids in a 25 gallon medium planted tank
I'm wanting to do a 120 gallon peacock tank. What would you recommend ?
I’d do all males, and a variety of different species
Hey can you make a video on how to identify male and female peacocks as well as breeding info. Thanks!
How many peacocks can i keep in a 60 gallon aquarium?
Dragon blood my favorite

I have 40 gallon breeder, what types and how many do you suggest?
I wouldn’t recommend any peacocks in a 40 gallon long term. There are some mbuna species that could work tho
Great video! How many peacocks would you suggest in a 75 gallon?
Your mother
You should get a marine light
Does (peacock bass) count??
Haha not for this one
Looking good Troy. Question I saw a small catfish in your video I couldn't make it out in the video what type of catfish is that? And how large does it get?
Thanks! I have two Synodontis petricola in there. About 5 years old and ~5 inches
Surprised you didn't include electric blue hap!
Not a peacock
Can't wait for my lwanda to mature 👀
They’re stunning fish!
Impressive malawis, but they have enough spots to hide? Or don't Aulonocaras need any hiding places?
Thanks. It’s actually the opposite for peacocks, they need open water
Where can I purchase them What’s the name of the web site.
Snake River Cichlids is where I bought some of my fish. Check them out.
What type of feed using for this cichlids.
Mention the name .....
- Xtreme Big Fella Pellets - geni.us/9Cra
- Xtreme Nice Pellets - geni.us/6ADcc
My faver is kadangoo red fine
I love OB peacocks but my gosh, u can get some real nutjobs from them. loool the ones with sharp colours are stunning!!!
I have a peacock and don’t know what species is soooo
DM or email us a pic and we can help identify
Dont own any African cichlids except red jewel and Polleni/starry night cichlid they not mouth brooders but enjoy the video
👍👍👍👍👍
I love my guys four colorful boys I have the ones that are blue with black stripe and fat cheeks
My red shoulder is thw most submissive in my tank lol
Interesting. Mine is an aggressive/mean one
I dont understand why people hate the ob. If you think they dont happen in the wild naturally you nuts.
The color of your males is nothing compared to a single male breeding with a group of females. Not judging. Quality versus quantity.
