Solo Wizard Is Broken Now | Dark and Darker

Dark and Darker's NEW patch/hotfix introduced the staff mastery perk for Wizard and it makes the class WAY more viable for solos.

Got one tapped by a geared wizard yesterday. I was at 127 health on a warlock with like 35 maybe more will so I had decent resistance hit him with a bolt of darkness then went in for some punches and just nah man your dead no chance for recourse lmao. Hopefully they’ll tweak this some😅

Nah magic staff is insane for PvP. Crystal sword with ignite was always a 3 shot, the only thing your taking advantage of is not having to ignite which is dumb because they just gave us more ignite capacity. The way you’re using it is kind of useless. That perk was meant for bonking in PvP. Gives wizard a new meta. At least imo

You think it’s only for PvP melee wiz cause it’s dumb broken rn. In reality they are just trying to give more viability to the staff in general for wizard. No reason to run a crystal sword anymore when you can run a staff and possibly use it to cast higher damage spells and actually defend yourself with melee at the same time to cast spells instead of being forced to run dagger crystal ball. Which increase the variety of builds because you don’t have to run a spellbook

Nice for low level wiz to be able to clear without sitting half the match, but on the high end that 5 magic damage is gunna scale so hard and be op as hell in melee. Maybe should be like +2 or +3 dmg so wizard still needs to cast spells in pvp
