Some small things, I'm experimenting with uploading in 8K but not sure if it really shows. Would love to hear feedback. I also experimented a bit with mixing different versions of the song. I also know people are waiting on a tilt shift video and I promise I'm working on it, they take time.
I don't have any devices that can handle 8K, so can't really see a difference but the resolution quality at 1440p and 4K are stunning. Look as though the footage is coming from my actual PC!
@@SyncChronicles On my OLED 4K TV, with the youtube app, the video look much better in 8k than 4K, (but it's because UA-cam send a higher bitrate, not because of higher resolution), so yeah, 8K videos are cool. Keep up the good work. Hope you will do a "ghost of tsushima PC" vidéo when it will come to master race ;)
The games art direction is hard to beat. I remember in my play through while taking random shots, I got the most candid shot of Norman Reedus looking utterly exhausted, all the while his BB is smiling happily. Shit looked tooo realistic.
Can't wait to see what's in store for the sequel. It's amazing that I can recognize every single place in this video. Level design and artistic direction are top notch in this game, every place is unique in some way.
Kojima is a master of his craft. He’s proven that he isn’t a one truck pony but true innovator. He pioneered the stealth genre. He could have easily went on and created another stealth franchise and been successful but the man has too much creativity. He takes chances to create something new. People complain about triple A game devs being afraid to break the mold but often overlook the genius of Kojima.
If anyone loves Death Stranding and hasn’t seen the movie Oblivion, check it out. I think Kojima must have liked its aesthetic, lots of small similarities (in no small part due to both featuring a post-apocalyptic US but actually using Iceland). It’s gorgeous in many similar ways. The end credits even show maps and terrain markers that look straight out of Death Stranding.
Death Stranding became one of my favorite video games in my time consuming video games. It's so wonderful that there is this kind of stuff here, especially from a game with such beautiful surroundings as those in this one. Thanks for all your excellent content, and keep on keeping on!
I agree. MGS was once my favorite franchise. I thought the party was over. I played DS through the first time and was like trying to be disappointed with it or something and ignoring that it fully engaged me to the end which few games do these days. When I decided to play it a second time, I discovered just how brilliant and beautiful this game is. I went on to play it a third time a year later simply to experience it again. I still couldn’t explain the story to you. And it really doesn’t matter 😅 It’s one of the most unique and memorable experiences as a gamer of 38 years
one of the most beautiful games I have ever played, it took me more than 2 years to complete it 100%, other people abandoned it almost at the beginning and I almost did too but there came a time when it became somewhat addictive and I wouldn't stop until the end
Dude, this video is so beautiful! I was really hyped for Death Stranding when it came out and the atmosphere and setting really blew me away. Your video has done such a fantastic job of capturing this, awesome work!
I still think the Fox engine did light better. The Kojima team struggled against the sort of glossy hyper-realism of the Decima engine, which was designed to make things look beautiful more than real. Horizon's aesthetic was all about looking beautiful, and it was a stunningly gorgeous game (two games now, though I haven't gotten a PS5, so I haven't played Forbidden West yet.) But the Kojima team leans toward stark realism, to enhance the surreal nature of their games. If they'd had the time, they'd have probably remade the Fox engine, since they couldn't actually take the code they wrote from Konami. But they needed to keep their development time strictly reasonable. And it sounds like the Guerilla Games people were really helpful. The result is almost as amazing as MGSV, but there's something about the way the game reflects light, especially on materials like clothing. Everything is a tiny bit too shiny and metallic. I hope they get to work on this a bit for the next game, but I totally understand if they don't have the time, and decide to work with the tools they have. Game development cycles are too long as it is. Finished is always better than perfect.

The mixing of the different versions of the song was beautiful! Fine piece of art.

This game has that sort of weird calm , sad but satisfying feel to it that very few games have
The landscapes, the music... So amazing.
This game man it’s definitely not for everyone but it definitely has a target audience and it’s amazing once it clicks with you
What Death Stranding did best was create a beautiful and tense world to traverse. You captured this aspect perfectly.

Same here. It's a world I often think about and have a strange nostalgia for.

Sam would even comment on the beautiful scenery when i stopped to admire it.
I’ve played this game through 3 times and it gets better every time.
I can’t wait for the sequel

Never clicked so fast in my life.

Pls play it. I can't experience playing it again for the first time , it's the best to experience it with no rush. Patience makes it 100X better
Very nicely done, but damn, the walking speed is a bit too fast.
how this video was filmed?
