Great video. I would like to do Italy TET also on my 1090R. Which parts were the most difficult ones? Why did you stuck near to Bruzolo? What tires use the rider on 1090R?
bei 06:34 könnte man den Eindruck bekommen das du 2 Meter groß bist 🙂 Oder hast du Maßnahmen getroffen die 690er tiefer zu legen ? Die Höhe zur Größe scheint ideal zu sein.
Ich bin gestern auf einer 2023er - 690er gesessen und bin 178cm. So wie im Video das ich mit beiden Fußen flach auf den Boden komme und die Knie noch gebäugt sind hat es bei mir nicht ausgesehen rein visuell. Das man bei entsprechendem Können das Ganze mit 173cm händeln kann, glaube ich schon, aber die Ergonomie sieht halt an dieser Stelle im Videos anders aus.
We always look for off road parts and have more fun then on street If you do TET then I would always recommend off road pneus at least the TKC 80 this one works great on street but we now go with more off road pneus
How did you guys find (weight) the suitability of the KTM690 & 701 for the TET? I appreciate it is always a compromise, road vs off-road but the TET is something I'd like to do a lot of.
701/690 is very TET friendly even for a twin you can go most of the TET there is only a few hard parts but of course its more fun with the light weight! I can recommend the lc4 a lot ;) Although I know ride a 500exc for more difficult ways than TET and I do have a 790R
Nice combination of bikes in your stable. How does the 500exc compare to the 701/690 on the road? I appreciate the service intervals (not that major if on tour) are a consideration but you get the significant weight saving for off road - where it matters a lot.
