Mostly low content, but also planners, log books, medium content, children's books and a lot of educational books and non-fiction.

Hi Nuria, very interesting video as usual 👍 Can you please tell me 1) what about your mock-up contents? Do you create them yourself or do you use templates? What are the most popular mockup sites in UK? And 2) how do you promote your books on social media? Are you active on various groups according to the theme of the book? Isn't it too much time-consuming? I am a beginner and I find it hard to get my first royalties. Thank you in advance

My sales have been steadily dropping, when I was expecting them to grow and I am confused as to why. I assumed almost all industry sales are slow and hence the drop, but seeimg yours grow, confuses me even more 😅. I've added new books this year and the ones I had from before that used to sell well, have stopped selling, even though they now have more reviews. It was getting to the point where I was breaking even with ads costs, so I lowered my spend considerably. So strange.
My sales have also been up and down in the past. And the books that used to make most of my income are not selling as much because so many people copied them. But in my case I think branding helped and creating different types of books. A lot of people are saying their sales are down this month and that is probably because people are putting items in their cart and not buying until closer to Christmas. We should see an increase in sales after Thanksgiving, that is what happened last year. It's all about not giving up, trying new things and building your business slowly. I wish you every success!

Good advice around tax, it is sensible to save between 30 - 40 % of the income for income tax. Always make sure you have an accountant or book-keeper.
Totally agree, 30-40% is a good amount.
If you have to save that much, you are paying too much tax. Time to move!

Hi, Nuria! Thank you for another inspirational video! As for me, I am having a hard time with Amazon ads. If I set my bids quite high then my acos goes through the roof, but I get some sales. When I lower my bids just a tiny bit, my acos starts to come down, but so do the impressions, and clicks and I make NO sales. It seems so difficult to find a sweet spot when your ad spend is under control and you're getting sales.

Is Amazon ads is only the way to get sale?
No, but it makes it easier. It's difficult to sell without promoting your books in some way, either through ads or social media.
Nuria do you have a schedule as a publisher? Maybe certain days you publish, days you design etc

How can you create email lists of your readers if Amazon gives no info about buyers?
In short, you add a website or QR code to your book. That way buyers can find you and sign up to your newsletter and that's how you collect emails.

Hi, Nuria. Thanks for this great video. You always do such a good job of explaining things clearly and your advice is sound. Your last video on A+ content was especially helpful, and after several false starts, I was able to make some nice A+ content for my latest book. The problem is it’s been over a week and I haven’t heard anything from Amazon about when it will be added to my sales page. I would think if something was wrong with it, I would receive a rejection, but so far, nothing. How long does it usually take for yours to show up and do you get a notice when it’s up? Is there anywhere I can see status of my submission? I’ve looked and can find nothing. It’s like it just went into a black hole.🤷🏼♀️ Thanks for any insight you may have!
I'm glad to hear it was helpful, I know that A+ content can be tricky to create (I don't think the Amazon website is very userfriendly) but it shouldn't take too long to be live. I would contact KDP and see if there is a problem their end. They have a chat feature you can use which I found very helpful when I contacted them. @@TheHomeBoss Hi, Nuria. Thanks for your reply. I chatted with someone at KDP tonight, as you suggested. It seems that my A+ Content was rejected, but I was never notified. I had included a portion of my book description in the last module, which I had copied from my sales page and it had a reference to shipping speed. I’ve edited my content to remove that reference and resubmitted. Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed it goes through this time. Thanks again for your help!

i already quite kdp mam i can't make money money in kdp i already lost some huge money in amazon ads
I'm very sorry to hear that, KDP doesn't work for everyone and like any other business, it takes time to build. But I wish you all the best for the future.
