Lyrics:
When I opened up my eyes today
Felt the sun shining on my face
It became so clear to me that everything is going my way
I feel like there's no limit to what I can see
Got rid of fears that were holding me
My endless possibilities
Has the whole world opened for me
That's why I'm feeling...
I'm feeling so good
I knew I would
Been taking care of myself
Like I should
'Cause not one thing
Can bring me down
Nothing in this world gonna turn me round...
Now the day is turning into night
And everything is still going right
There's no way you can stop me this time
Or break this spirit of mine
Like the stars above I'm gonna shine
Anything I want will be mine
Tonight I'm gonna have a good time
Call a few friends of mine
'Cause I'm loving life
And tonight's for feeling
one of Jlo’s best songs/videos. Underrated classic
1000% agree!!
Defo agree with this comment this song needs to come back to mainstream radio instead of Jenny from the block
Copied from it takes two
And this song was done by Diddy.
But it sounds like she actually sang it. 😅
The 90s and early 2000s was a magical place
Best!!
Nostalgia...
Greetings from Cape Town, South Africa 🇿🇦
yes
I feel ya but you should've been around in the 80s.Shit was Cah-RAZY!

Man they don't make videos like this anymore. This whole video was a vibe 🥰 The era of the dance breakdowns was 🔥🔥🔥
They don’t dance like they used to in rnb/hiphop videos 🥺
This song keeps me in a good mood as a breast cancer survivor 💪...in addition, it took me back to my late teens 😊...a cute moment of this video was watching doña Lupe at the kitchen ❤
🙏🏾
❤🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾❤️
Late 90's and early 2000's were the best times to be a teenager 💜
Capq0711 try just turning 21 and able to hit the clubs! Man those were the times!

I was a pre teen but yeah 97 to 00 I was 9 to 12 those were the years I started to really get into hip hop/rap

It’s impossible not to dance when you hear this song.💗
I have no legs :(
And miss getting ready with ur girlfriends - no skimpy outfits, no crazy heels hair extensions duck lips, just style & dancing.
You can thank the diddler for this song
@MandyJRoss I totally agree with you. I love Jennifer Lopez. 😊
Damn
I soooo missss this era.. RIP Pun

Big Pun one of the greatest to ever do it. We need a mural of Pun in Birmingham just like they have in the South Bronx.

This song is full of positive vibes
I'm not a fan but I love this cut, I can play it back to back and feel great, I mean I feel great anyway, but dope song.
Simple...Positive...Fresh...one her best tracks!
+RP01 Fresh? sounds like elevator music.
+RP01 true

Adrian LBS or cheap Malls music. lol
NO This is what you call real CLUB music.
Seeing J.Lo living life in The Bronx and in NYC was what made me fall in love with NYC. That was such great time back then, the music, the entertainment. Life was good back then.
It's crazy cuz that ny is dead and gone Ny doesn't really vibe like that anymore...how different sound back then
@@lighthousemaccabee8133 It’s fine if it’s not around. It well documented. Besides millions of us lived in NYC during that period and we still appreciate it and hold it dear to our hearts…

Who is listening this in june 2024?

This song always puts me in a great mood, I miss this era and reminds me of living in the Bronx as well

I wish I could 😪
J.Lo did not come to play and she showed that clear on the breakdown dance. One of the Best to ever do it. She's up there with MJ when it comes to DANCING IMO 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
This song used to lift my spirit up when I was a teenager. I always saw Jennifer as an inspiration, she came from nowhere and made her dreams come true while no one believed in her. She has proven - where there's a will there is a way!
Nowhere? she came from a middle class home. A mother who was a school teacher and a father who was an accountant. Don't buy that whole poor Puerto Rican girl B.S
QBRikan77 she never said she was poor but where she was from it wasn't easy. Have you seen a teachers salary and an accountant during her up bringing. Go somewhere.
+QBRikan77 teachers don't make shit after taxes..and if u have kids u are struggling..and it depends on where your doing accounting at if u make good money..if your living in the Bronx u ain't doing that good...are u just hating? or U just don't know what your talking about?
Kraft
+QBRikan77 Ummm stop it. She was not rich , lower middle class at best which isn't saying much. She's from Castle Hill in the South Bronx, that is clearly the hood. You obviously don't know shit about the Bronx so shut up.
Im glad they all did a record before pun died the 3 biggest Bronx/puterican artists at the time... respect

If you're REALLY from NYC, meaning...you're not a tourist or a hipster (Williamsburg) then you know this song perfectly portrays that era (early 00's) perfectly! Queens, stand up! Much respect to all the five boroughs though! Big Pun R.I.P
MinasPraSempre Pittsburgh and Philly had the same and has the same vibe
jimmy howard how much has changed? because east coast mooks ruined california
Prince Edward lol, you obviously don't know how many Californians there are here in NY.
yeah, i don't. im sure the homosexuals and rejects are out there who were born in cali. but as far as 4th generation californians like myself we never leave the state for anywhere else.
Proud to be born in NYC!
this is literally my favorite J.Lo song ever made. And I've been listening to this song since it came out in '99. It's like instant nostalgia for me and brings me back to all the good ole summers in the late 90's.
Nokzi
Mine too!! 😁
Big pun fan and never knew these 2 had a song together
can't believe it's been 20 years since Big PUN passed. Still pushing this in 2021!!!

this will forever be one of her best songs. soooooo good!
This song is so positive hopeful and simple..it makes me feel so good every time I listen to it!
YES!!!! Definitely motivational❤️
I remember I wanted my hair like this when I saw this video..JLo has always been a trendsetter 👑
this song is the joint. still puts a smile on my face! Big Pun!
neoh3000ify yessss
I agree 💯
This song always puts me in a good mood. It reminds me of simpler times. I was born in June 1985. So I was a teenager during this time in the late to early 2000s!!!
that was a beautiful time to be a teenager
Geoffrey Phipps aa
Same here and yes being a teenager at that time was great. Dancing, the crews, the parties, hardly anyone on their phones. It was about being on MSN, going to house parties, teen clubs and hangouts. This video visually represented those times. Yes this song was on rotation before we went out to party. Facts! Good vibes
I was norn in May 1988 and i was 11 years old when the song came out. It was my jam
Oh man I was born early July 1985 myself.
Amazing how JLo looks exactly the same even 23 years later. I love JLo ❤
24 years later
Nah. She shaved her nose, had a bodylift and the mean shows alot on her face🤷🏾♀
@@kellywade8275 and you should get a life and let people live theirs. JLo looks amazing then and now

Raheem D I know it seems wrong to ask, but may you do a mash up with a song I made😳😳😳
I share your vibes totally!!!!!
glad to see familiar face here ^^ ...mashup king :))
Puff daddy masterpiece, the beat is 🔥. Great producer
One of the best carefree songs of the 90s. JLO was getting hott at the time. And she's still hot 20 years. This song still rocks 20 years later.
100% what i was thinking
Without a doubt 💯
relateable song
1999 was the year ..coming back from school to home feeling tired and hungry ...waiting for lunch to be served while watching the 10 top ten charts ...Man !!!! It feels like yesterday
I don’t know what it is, but music from those days make me just wanna enjoy life not making it too complicated.
Nosostros nos besamos en nuestra primera cita y ellos tambien
Yep
Yes👍✌️
2:49 - 3:28 that breakdown is still a replay moment over 20 years later
Its not that great, she should left it to her dancers, they is a few well known ones their too.I think she lacks energy, she is 30 here and was never a good dancer, but she can dance.
This should be every woman's anthem. Whenever I feel down, I put this on and remember who the F I am!
Loved this comment. Thank you for that. It made me feel better xx
So right!!
ME TOOOOOOO Instant mood lifter!!!

man I miss the 90s I would kill to be in my teens and my 20s in the 90s damn...
I was an actual teen in the late 90's trust me it's a lot better now
+Steve Bosell no way, being a teen in the late 90's was amazing
Word you not the only one, the clubs and parties we're jumping back then!
I graduated high school in 1999. I thought that the class of 1997's parties completely outdid ours. Now that im way older guess what? Parties are always poppin' if you make them. They werent any more poppin back then, than they are now. I'm telling you as someone WHO ACTUALLY LIVED THROUGH IT, I wouldnt wanna go back for shit, and to be honest, none of y'all wishing so hard to go back, could ever survive...
+Steve Bosell prolly cause you wasn't from the streets, my cousins from NY always tell how lit back in the day was
Back to when J.Lo, Britney and Christina were the queens 👑👌🏼🔥🔥🔥🔥
JLO is still the QUEEN!!! ❤️👑
@✨Mocha Mystique✨ Xtina is the most irrelevant one right now. Cry about it!
That late 90"s and early 2000 was completely their era

This is my utimate Law of Attraction song 😊
OMG!!! What a classic. This is Latinos in NYC for real. JLO makes me wanna go back home. Man music was good then. Miss it all so much! Please please no more F...ing Peaches (Sorry ATL) Big 🍎 Now.....

Ain't no hate half these people is not from atl any way . They from up in new York.
I LOVE THIS SONG YEARS LATER & J.LO STILL LOOKS GREAT IN HER 50'S, THIS SONG IS A CLASSIC & RIP BIG PUN😇!!!!🥰😍🤩
This is the way the world felt in the late 90s - it just felt like there was no trouble, just carefree, innocent fun
Back then when women had no silicon implants and no fillers... its nice to look at natural looking beautiful women unlike the kardashian clones that we have these days all over the entertainment industry and social media...
huh? fillers definitely existed and so did boob jobs!! lol the 90s especially were the trend fir huge fake boobs and fake tans….
Yea no saggy diaper🤣🤣🤣🤣
Such a uplifting song
RIP BIG PUN. Its been 14 yrs officially today.
After 2000 a lot of things started to go down hill. Not just music, but movies etc. The feel good feelin, being in love, and just hanging out with your friends. It seems like just slowly went away over the years. People barely speak to each other on the street anymore when they pass by. There's a lot of good people, music, and movies still around but you have to" Search" for them instead of them being common place like in the past.
Nona Taylor I couldn’t agree anymore with your message! You’re right, everything just seemed sweeter in the 00’s. I think people got too addicted to their social media and phones and we forgot about each other. 🤷🏽♀️
Facts....It died for me about 05.. that was then end for real music.
Spot on I know what vibe you talking bout. 03 mightve been
the last good year and shit definitely was different by 07
@@slowburnraloh2763 yea 03 still had that feel to it..05 was still good with Neyo, young Chris Brown, soulful trey songz,Keyshia Cole,Amerie was still around,J lo was still J lo,Kanye was himself,T.i. was great ,lil wayne wasnt terrible,Houston rappers were a big thing,Ciara was doing it along with Jazze Pha...I agree 07 is where the change began

Luca 98 definitely
Luca 98 my exact thoughts
Luca 98 I agree ♥♥♥♥♥
Agreed
Thank the
Pun and Joe killin' it like always. RIP Big Pun
I use to think J Lo was like any other singer, but after many years of not listening to her and coming back, I realize that she is not just an accomplished singer (with many hits), dancer, movie star, but a true Super Star.
Very underrated, indeed!
Are you high? Lol it's not her vocals on most of her tracks. Ashanti... Christina Milian... Natasha Ramos and many other people have sang for her and being an actress...she just mimed along.
@@Note.O It doesn't matter where her vocals came from. What matters is that she's a great performer and deserves her success. These days alot of singers use autotune to make themselves sound good. So stop dissing her for all the hits she has performed for us to see. None of them could dance as well as J Lo could. Her dancing was mesmerizing and eye candy.
Very well said!
call me old but i love this song even today.

RIP Big Pun.
J. Lo can really dance!
Yup she got professionally trained when she was really young. Not sure 14 or 18 but she danced on living colour.
Before she starts to sing she was background dancer. Watch the song from Janete Jeackson" That's the way love goes" and you see J.lo
@@xiki4006 went to check it out mmediately.... oh yeah, there she is indeed;)
@@MzAnzu or you can see her at AMA 91 as back up dancer when New Kids on the Block were performing.
Fly girls?
I LOVE this timeless video! The song was so prophetic in describing Jennifer's astoundingly successful career..."There's no limit to what I can do...", etc. And the dance break is one of my favorites - choreographed by the legendary Tina Landon, of course.
I don't know who's singing the chorus but she killed it. I feel so nostalgic listening to this song!
A common Jlo staple to not sing her choruses 😂
Kelly Price I think
Didn't Ashanti do a lotta her vocals?

Sometimes I have to listen to this to uplift my spirits. Makes me think about the past when things were so much simpler and stress free...
Makes me miss all those "Ladies Only Night's" me and my girlfriends used to have. Going to the mall to pick out an outfit, getting ready together, listening to old jams with cocktails, hitting the clubs. Best times!
Awesome! I recorded this in my VCR using a VHS in the 2000's! Awesome!!
i can't believe this was BIG Pun last music video before he passed away
it hurts i'm going to cry man its hurts like hell

It's 2020 and was thinking of my childhood and this came to mind. I was 9 or 10 when I first heard this song. I think it was 2000 or 2001.
I like how Jlo smiles while Pan and Joe rap back and forth. That's cute 😘
Gotta love Big Pan
Despite all the controversies, it's undeniable she had a beautiful smile.
Back to late 90's/early 2000's when everything was simpler and people were happier 💙
I think artist need to bring back the dance break in the middle of the track. It breathes extra life into the track.
What a time to be alive . This brings back so many memories of the vibe that NYC had in the 90s❤
Powerful words, very positive affirmations. Thank you Jennifer ♥️♥️
