This machine looks to do a really good job at getting the clothes clean. That soapy water constantly hitting the towels on top of the way it agitates really seems to do a great job. I’m curious if the owner is happy with it.
Quite frankly, this looks like it's doing a really thorough job of washing the clothes. Probably a damn sight better than the Cabrio could have ever thought of doing. I currently have the 5.2 and 9.0 cubic foot (respectively) LG washer and dryer set, and there's currently one of these (completely refurbished) with the matching dryer for sale in Oak Harbor, WA that I am considering getting for a spare set.
I had to read your whole comment hoping you were being sarcastic, you weren't. I can tell a good washer on how much the clothes tumbles, in this case the clothes is hardly moving.
Does the washer ever fill up to a full load? Are there any water level setings. The wash concept isreally weird. I cant see doing a full load of towels or work clothes ns washer.
I never put too much in the Calypso, when you overload it that's when it starts to tear and Tangle clothes especially towels and sheets, otherwise and incredibly awesome design
this washer washed very well i had 2 of them. the main problem was that they rip and tear towels like crazy. i loved it tho. i just didnt want my towels ripped lol
LM Al: My Mother has a Pewter Colored one. She loved it. Mother’s Finest Plush Thick Towels came out fine Fluffed than before my brother tore it up using the wrong Detergent. I would love to find another one for my sister. Cause she said she loved it.
Lol they never cleaned very well for the amount of money you paid for these back then give me a Maytag dependable care for actually less, no nonsense down to earth washing machine not this crap...
Well the recirculating water shower helps. If that wasn't there it would be a so-so washer at best.

Do you still have this washer? if so, I'd like to see the inner workings in action on heavy-duty.
a better wash then the new HE crap they sell now
Whirlpool if you want to be great again and still follow government regulations then bring back the calypso and discontinue the cabrio!
And use reinforced parts and include a glass window.
Amen
@@maynecmddavis9485 real talk! For real!

I wonder what would happen if you would fill this washer up using buckets of water instead of letting it fill up on it’s on
this was the best machine ever made.
