another great video its about 30 mins from my home went to lots off woodford airshows with my brother and my dad great to see the museum with tons off history off this great former airfield.
Hi Andrew, Unfortunately we never saw an airshow there ,the museum is packed with history the staff are so friendly and only to happy to chat . We only found out about this museum though something on Facebook . The Lancaster VR experience was brilliant as near as your going to get to the real thing. Well worth a visit . Thanks again have a great weekend David & Shell
Thankyou so much for this video. We both saw lots other air shows, watching from a good vantage point in Lyme Park. We are thinking of visiting the museum on Sunday. We abOlutelyclove sharing history on our channel. Only just found you while researching our visit. Now subscribed to you.

Loved this. When I started watching it was - yep the Lancaster. For some reason never crossed my mind that the Vulcan was also an Avro! I just finished a book on the Allies air war on Germany - just an incredible read. The Lancs and the Fortresses were incredible machines but it was the range of the Mustang that tipped the balance in the end Crazy life expectancy for a bomber crew Saw the two Lancs together when the American one was over here a few years back. That was something to behold. And sometimes see the Fortress from Cambridgeshire around the skies here That looks a brilliant museum. Gonna take a flight courtesy of the BBC now Have a great Sunday you guys.
Evening Dave ,glad you liked the video ,the museum was great so much info on the Lancaster ,it was interesting to know the man who set up avro actually did a five year apprenticeship at Horwich works on the railways , and the guy who designed the Lancaster was also born locally to us .The Mustangs were something else and had the range and speed . I'm not sure I'd want to have been on the receiving end of the lanc ,Vulcan or flying fortress . Hope you enjoyed your flight to Berlin courtesy of the BBC . Have a good weekend David & Shell
