This is day 2 with my new air beam tent. After a good night’s sleep and breakfast it was time for some housekeeping then into Port William for a look around.
This is one of those small picturesque villages that have nearly everything in it for everyday living. There is also a restaurant which has a licence and opens late on weekends. The camp site which is run by the Community can be very popular, so it pays to book in advance.
Morag and myself enjoyed our time here testing our new tent, it is a really beautiful places to wake up to and just stare over the bay to the Mull of Galloway.

it is a very nice spot we had the pleasure of a visit there last year and the bonus we met Mac (Pat) and morag in Galiston

Your videos always relax me mac! You deserve a lot more views but it’s hard for UA-camrs these days, most of the audience is on Tik tok these days but I much prefer UA-cam still :) longer and more personal videos like yours are a more wholesome experience. Can’t wait for more videos I always love watching you and Morag 🎉

Port William one of the first places i stayed when on holiday admittedly there is not a lot there but nice place, did you not have your heater with you? seeing as it was cold in the evening.
I was more interested in getting the ait beam working, plenty of time for the heater come the back end of the year

Hi Susie, the joys of being a grandparent. I have a step granddaughter; she is just like my daughter, horse mad. She is away at horsey college at the moment so if the is anything like my daughter she will be giving someone grief. LoL. I am just back from 2 days in the Mennock Pass so will be having a steak and a wee bevy tonight.

Will you be getting your feet up as well or has the kid tired you out so much that you can’t get out the chair and can’t even stretch for the remote? (Speaking from experience)
@@wanderwithmac lol. Just finishing dinner for myself and my son. Having schitznel, jersey potatoes, peas and mushrooms tonight. Then will have the auld feet up big style. Gave tilly a bath today also so she is traumatised. Take care Mac.x
Just did a dod of ribeye in the air fryer and a glass of red. Morag and Brendon will not be my friends tomorrow; I am setting them up with the vet for their yearly jabs.

Just back from the Mennock, the midges are starting.
It’s more of a family tent, but ha ho I will give it a go.
I like plenty room tho if it rains you might be in there all day so good to have room
