I had a roach problem here last year after being in my apartment for 4yrs, the property manager moved new ppl in next door an that's when I started seeing them. I told him about the roaches an he did nothing so my grandaughter hired orkin to come in an spray an they couldn't get rid of them so I started thinking it's not my grandaughters responsibility to be paying out hundreds an hundreds so I called the city an they came an inspected contacted the landlord an he had to give my granddaughters money back an get a exterminator in here well when the exterminator came an went next door he said the ppl were nasty an triffeling once they made them clean up their apartment an keep it that way plus they sprayed for 3 months I haven't seen not one.... Maybe think about calling the city it's not your place to be spending your money.
That's a good idea because she has been working so hard and I know it has to be stressful. But then again, she is taking charge and in control of her current situation. But a good idea to see if she can get some reimbursement. 😍
You should get some electrical plugs to plug up the electrical sockets that you’re not using. Thanks for being so transparent and authentic with your videos.
I'm a single mum of 3 too, in London, England. Found your videos recently and your so inspiring!!! Because of you I deep cleaned my walls finally! Keep doing your thing sis ❤❤❤
Greetings Goddess great job I did the same thing when I moved to Texas my neighbors brought roaches and I was freaking out, I used the combat gel, combat traps, and that powder, sealed all cracks i never see any bugs so you doing it right, I put the gel behind my stove, refrigerator, dryer, washer, and under the bathroom sinks too so eventually those bugs will be gone Peace and Blessings 🖤
Girl!!!!! You inspired me to cleaning my house up after seeing your vedios. I went crazy cleaning after seeing sone roaches in my kitchen. Gotten some great ideas to get me some of them clear containers to seal off them nasty bugs!!
Whew sis . . . I hear you. It takes alot of time and time away from spending with your children. You are trying to keep everyone safe and at peace in their home. You won sis! Plus, this was a teaching moment for your children. The importance of sticking with something you know will payoff in the end with hard work.
I commend you for all of the hard work you've been putting in. I know it can't be easy and also has to be so stressful. So much of my life is filled with stress from life's everyday problems that are always jumping out at us. Our washer just burnt up again. We just got it a few months ago. The last one that we got only lasted one day. This is the fifth one. We buy them used of course because we can't afford new. But still...a used washer costs $150 minimum. Before our washers started burning up, we were going through a lot of problems with the dryer area. We went through four dryers and knock on wood this one is still running like a champ. I am pretty overwhelmed because having a family of five, two boys under age seven and my husband and daughter both do a physical job where they are sweating like crazy...keeping up on the laundry is a must. I can hand wash a few loads here and there, but wringing them out blisters my hands. Anyhoo....enough about my problems lmao....you have your own! I have really been enjoying watching your videos lately! They are just so real and relatable. Thank you!
You did a really good job I must say however I don’t think you should’ve used the foam because that’s really insulation. There’s a different type of foam and it’s specifically for crack. I’m not exactly sure if that is what you used? What I would’ve recommended is that you continue to use the waterproof caulk and the caulking gun, It’s easier to remove if you should move out and your landlord wants to renovate. The form that you use is very sticky on the hands and is very messy and your landlord might get very angry with you if he sees that. Nevertheless you can trim the foam even though bubbly you can take a knife and trim it to smooth it out. But you gotta throw the knife. It won’t remove. The combat is great sure you put that underneath your kitchen cabinets you don’t need a lot because it smells very strong to the bugs and it will draw them. Put them on the side of your drawers, knives and forks, not inside the drawer, but on the side where the drawer railings are.. also in your bathroom, put the gel near the bathroom pipes underneath the sink as well as in the kitchen. Try to climb on top of the cabinets and put that gel on top of the cabinets also. You did a good job a lot of work I know been there done that. It’s not easy, but it gets the job done.
I can’t stand roaches either !!! It’s like when you are trying so hard to keep everything concealed, organized , and clean- you’re wondering why you keep seeing them and it’s from the neighbors !!!🤦🏾♀️ I HATE ROACHES AS WELL I DONT EVEN KNOW WHY THEY EXIST!
So are you seeing a difference between then and now? Keep spraying inside and out! It will pay off. I have silverfish 🤦🏾♀️. And I have been spraying once a week and I don’t see them anymore
Girl I had silverfish at my old apt it drove us crazy!?? Some leak under the toilet in the subfloor was causing the issue. I also went absolutely crazy cleaning every single spot I could get to, with blazing hot water bleach, Pinesol etc. I used a spin mop to wipe down the walls and ceiling, moved appliances, vacuum and steam mop all the hard floors, decluttered BIG TIME bc they love piles, paper and cardboard! I used a carpet cleaner on the carpet and put sea salt or diatomaceous earth in the corners. I kept it up to! For the first month we would vacuum real quick literally every day. I made sure not to leave standing water and poured bleach down all the drains. Last of all I prayed! Didn’t see another until we moved about 6 mo later
Thank you and baby when it’s time to go I promise I won’t care about it 😂😂 GOD will provide all I need to move, if they wanna be mad and try to keep it oh well 💚
You know roaches be hiding in the back of the refrigerator because I live in the projects also and when I have them to call someone out to spray if I see one roach 😆 they always go straight to back of the refrigerator! But I don't see why you spending your money that housing authority job! My housing authority always calls a outside company to come out and they will bomb my whole apartment if I complain about roaches! But at least you just dealing with roaches because we had bad rat infestation and it was bad the whole project had rats! But it's been okay for a while now! Thank God
You’re right, I am doing their job but it’s only because they’re NOT doing their job. They have an outside company too but they’re sorry… and for some reason they tell us we’re not allowed to bomb the apartment. I can’t make this up, sometimes I feel like they want us to have roaches. It’s wild… but I am grateful it’s not rats! That’s really terrifying. I’m thanking GOD right along with you that it’s okay now 💚 Thank you for watching!
Boil your water and with all the money you’ve spent on pest control you could’ve paid a professional. I pray you kept all your receipts and send it to the mayor. I never lived apartment living, but I did start from the bottom. Never raised that way so I can relate to you sis. Write the mayor and governor.
Also when using that sealer just barely press the reliever. It’s made to expand. Also that’s not going to keep bugs out (they’re boneless), but it’s diffently going to help on the energy cost. While waiting your videos I’ve noticed a water leak when you pointed it out on the ceiling, but I noticed it outside on your back patio. If you was near me in Louisiana or a drive away no more than 8 hours I will love to help you. I will start posting my DIY Video and home decorations etc you inspired med outta everyone I watch our energy matches and I see an abundance of luck coming your way. I’m a Virgo and I’m saying that to say I have a great time watching you being ❤❤❤❤ authentic
