@Andrea Laperni yes I forgot about Travertino, which is the most used in many architectural structures in Italy, and in Europe in general, also in many decorative artifacts. I was 11 years old when the invasion happened, and it's really difficult to recall those days. I remember seeing many dead bodies on my way to school. The first day after the invasion, my dad took us to my grandfather's house, and we saw burned vehicles and people. My mom hugged me tightly. I remember gunfire from American soldiers happening right beside our school, and we were trying to hide (this happened many times). I also remember being woken up in the middle of the night by American soldiers entering our house, searching for no apparent reason (this happened so many times). It was a hard time for us. Even now, in 2024, we're still suffering from the aftermath of that war. It feels like my country was set back 100 years.
