There is no such option as ‘ operation mode ‘ on this page when I login to the router page.

You must uprade firmware for router version.

For people who dont have the "Operation mode", Update your firmware
1- See hardware version on the back of your device e.g 4.0
2- Download the corresponding firmware from tplink site
3- Upgrade the firware from router
After upgrading firmware (my version 2.0) not showing operation mode

What about "region"? I am not in united states.

The default is admin / admin. If this is not possible, the password has been changed
then you need to reset the manufacturer
