Views like that sandwich tower at 4:41 are one of the many reasons Attache is one of two channels I always watch on full screen, and the only one I'll pause sumo wrestling for.
Toledo was a place we visited a lot when I was a kid. My parents were working in Spain, and the swords, suits of armor, and architecture were just magical to me.
Need to put Toledo on my list! Also quite like these ‘non-core, hidden gem’ guides. I know they’re not as popular as the big cities, but it’s great for discovery/inspiration.
It's one of the most important and interesting Castillian cities of Spain, and the oldest parts are totally medieval stone style architecture, and they just have an extraordinary and unique energy. There's no marzipan almond paste sweets that can compare to Spain, and Toledo is an important marzipan manufacturing center. Delicious. It's a vice once start eating small baked toasted marzipan figurines, don't want to stop. Lol Spain captures the essence of true flavors of Visigothic Christian marzipan development, like no other countries, no matter how beautifully shaped and decorated in Austria and Germany. Toledo has an extraordinary cathedral with museum rooms. I've been been there multiple times, and just feel at home in Toledo. An everything city.
Wow, it really does look spectacular. I'd heard about it before but now it's firmly on my travel list. It reminds me a little of Matera, Italy, which is also a must visit city.
Toledo looks magical…definitely on my list now. Thanks for the video. I’ve been to Spain a couple of times…not surprisingly to Barcelona (and I used your Barcelona video to prep for my first visit in 2019). I loved visiting Zaragoza in 2019 as well, and on my most recent trip last fall, I rented a car and drove to the little village of Cardona, which is quite charming. Though my primary reason for going there was to stay in the village’s parador, which is in an amazing 12th century castle overlooking the valley and village. Really nice (though a lot of mining in the nearby hills).
Hi! Your videos are greats, they permit me relax and amplify my mind...but actually are very shorts...I hope that in the future they could be biggers in time. Thanks, best reggards
If you want a small city even more beautiful, far less touristy and with an even more phenomenal food scene, visit Cáceres in SW Spain. Go now before it becomes the next Toledo or Dubrovnik.
So that's my Fall trip sorted out! Definition of "say less, I'm in". I visited Barcelona in Nov. 2018. Worst trip of my life - but that was due to bad company - I have been contemplating a return to Spain, and just got back from VIenna which was the last pre-pandemic trip I had planned for in 2020. I've been trying to decide between Lisbon & Porto, or Madrid & Barcelona with a 2 night day trip from Madrid and a one night day trip from Barcelona. Barcelona deserved another chance without a doubt in my mind otherwise, but Toledo looks like it has everything I'd want out of a multi-night day trip from a major destination. In a few weeks I'm visiting my friend in DC while I'm there for a work trip, and she just got back from a Southern Spain trip - cannot wait to hear her take and have an Attaché guide to boot!
Side comment to my second comment - I'm hoping you might have a Strausburg vlog or travel guide on the way - I'm probably going to spend Christmas in Europe this year since the organisation I work for closes org-wide from just before Christmas until around 3 kings day.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of those 4 cities, they're all great. But I can definitely recommend Toledo for a quick trip. Lovely little place.
Where have you been in Spain? Any places you'd recommend?

Pausing sumo is basically the peak compliment. Thank you.
Love the architectural designs of the building in Toledo.
I'm going to say...
Attaché is my favorite travel channel
That's really kind, thank you.

It's a truly extraordinary place. Like something from a movie.
Loving these Attaché Travels videos! Toledo looks stunning.

Thanks! Yeah Toledo is definitely worth a visit.

Thanks, man! Yes you should definitely check it out. Keep up the great work you do.
Another gem from attache! Here in cebu, we also have a place called toledo city. But it's not as beautiful as Toledo in spain 😂
Ha, no way! I didn't know there was a Toledo City in/near Cebu.
@@attachetravellocated at the western coast of the island of cebu. You know Cebu? 😱
Toledo is one giant maze!!! I got lost so many times while I was there lol
Oh you left me hanging. It doesn't feel complete without the cost of a big mac
Hahaha even in one of these little mini episodes?!
I didn't realize how charming this city was! Reminds me of Sarajevo in Bosnia & Herzegovina!
It's a beautiful place, well worth your time.
Hombre, Toledo es algo más antigua e importante que Sarajevo históricamente.

So many of those little Spanish villages are spectacular, and well within reach of the major hubs.
I was there in March, wish I had seen this before going. You don't have a ton of destinations but the one's you do have are great and really helpful.
I mean…we have nearly 60 city guides 🤷♂️
Penang, Malaysia, is calling your name. You’ll love it.
Beautiful visuals

Ahhh what a stunner. Would love to go, mainly as it's a bit of a mecca for El Greco heads! Toasted pita and hummus today if you're interested
Thank you for this! Great work as always. It would be nice to have more videos on other not-that-known, picturesque and small cities in Europe btw.
I'll do my best! I go where the wind takes me.
Well done very nice video
Was in Toledo last October! ❤️d it!
Incredible, isn't it. Did you stay for a few days?
@@attachetravel No i did the day trip from Madrid. I should have stayed overnight 🙁

Ahh haven't been to Strasbourg yet but I'll add it to the list!
@@attachetravelI’m here in Toledo, today, and it did not disappoint - love it here
Nice , are you guys going to Asia any time soon ? Macau is very interesting with its Portuguese history
I enjoy your videos, but I recommend working on volume consistency and bumping it up a bit overall.
Helpful feedback, thank you.
Aguante Toledo OH
Toledo the three cultures city ( jewish/arab/ christian) a impressive monumental city entire old town is a Unesco site
Indeed!
I really thought this was about Ohio for a sec and was so confused but intrigued haha
The earth born to mazapán.
:)
Hey man why are your reviews getting shorter in length. 7.5 minutes only...come on we need at least 12 to 15 minutes for a decent wholesome review.
This was just a chronicle of a personal trip I took, not a full city guide 🙂
WAY too much talking and not showing hardly anything about the city itself.
