It was when I learn about the relationship between Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and technology stocks that I found out why it is forward looking & very volatile. While Malaysian OSAT players can get a lot of benefit, could it also be that they will face a lot of competition from the region? Especially from China. Am curious what do you think the catch will be if we happen to have such theme this year.
No offense, but for the past few months, I feel like the contents of the videos are slightly outdated(?) in the sense that they are titled or positioned like they're forward-facing, but the contents feel backward-facing or towards the tail-end of the themes, but I'm just a casual idk
As much as i like these guys, I feel you are right. Moore's law is no longer applicable for the past few years maybe? It's harder and harder to squeeze twice the performance in the same die size. Also later says the apple m2 chip is 35% faster than the m1 which is faster growth than moore's law predicted? A minute ago he said Moore's law is twice the power every two years, so 1. either better fact checking is needed or 2. the script writing needs to be more concise and less confusing. This feels like a rushed video
Malaysian OSAT players only do traditional chip packaging, Advanced chip packaging is mastered by Taiwan chip companies, especially CoWoS packaging which they started 10 years ago. That's why only Taiwan semicon companies benefit from AI chips.
Well said.
