Allah does not love sins, but Allah loves to forgive. Allah does not love the sinner, but Allah loves the repenter.
One of the biggest sins that we can do is to give up hope of Allah's forgiveness. To claim that, "Allah cannot forgive me," is a bigger sin than any other sin that you have done. "I am too sinful, there is no point in repenting, Allah cannot forgive me, I am too sinful." This very claim of yours is a bigger sin than anything else you might have done as a Muslim. O Muslim, no matter how sinful you are...do you think that you alone single handedly have commited so many sins that you can emcompass Allah's mercy, that Allah's mercy cannot forgive you, that you can challenge the Rahmaan and the Raheem? WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOUR SINS IN COMPARISON TO THE MERCY OF ALLAH ?! That arrogance is a greater crime and greater sin than any other sin you might have done. And that is why the Prophet (saws) said that the biggest of all sins is Shirk (polytheism) and to give up hope of Allah's mercy and to say that Allah cannot forgive me.
To claim that Allah cannot forgive you, you're limiting the mercy of Allah, you're limiting the forgiveness of Allah. And you are claiming single handedly that you and your sins are more powerful than Allah and His mercy!
"Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" [Qur'an 39:53]
Allah does not count the number of times you repent. Allah looks at the quality of your repentance and not the quantity of your repentance.

    To summarize process of repentance:
    1. Make sure you're repenting for the sake of Allah. Not because you've got caught red handed, for others, etc.
    2. Feel genuine guilt - feel sorry from the inside of your heart.
    3. Repent via the mouth - make repentance asking Allah to forgive you in whichever language you know best.
    4. Make the intention of not returning to that sin. The guilt must lead to the removal of that sin from your life. Don't let the shaytaan/devil lead you to astray thoughts that provoke you to return to this sin.
**5. If someone else was included on your sin (backbiting, stealing, etc.) ask them for forgiveness or give back what you might've taken.

Al-Tawba Al-Nasooha ( The sincere repentance for a certain sin ) : This is how you ask repentance for a certain sin ( big sin ) : example : You work as a cashier in a store and one day you stole $300 to buy an I-phone. 1) You must regret doing the burgulary and wish you hadn't do it because you have displeased Allah by going against his orders. 2) You promise Allah that you will never do such a sin in the future ever. Only time will tell if your Tawba is Nasooha or not. If you are in need of money again but you remeember that you have promise Allah never to steal the money from the employer again, then you are sincere in your Tawba, but if you go back and steal, then you did not do Tawba Nasooha, but on the contrary, you are just playing games with Allah. Next, Next, You ask Allah to forgive you for your sins, and you promise Allah you are making Tawba Nasooha and you will never go back to stealing again. Lastly, you must return peoples rights : you must return the money you stole to it's rightful owner. Just put back the money where you took it or approache the owner and confess your crime to him and Allah will give you a way out Inshallah. Peace!

    • @OrchestralOrg
      @OrchestralOrg 8 років тому

+Omar Ramo we aren't supposed to make promises. that's dangerous. if you make a promise god will accept it and then hold you to it. it's better to confess that you are a sinner rather than promise to never sin again (a promise a sinner cannot keep). remember what he said about sinners (human beings) and those who never sin (angels). human beings are not angels, they are sinners.

O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it.

Knowing That Allaah Is The One Who Forgives
From Ibn Abbas [رضي الله عنه] said who said that the Messenger of Allaah [ ] said: that Allaah [عز و جل] said:
Whoever knows that I have the capability to forgive sins, then I will forgive him and not care, as long as he did not associate anything with Me.

If you keep repenting brother, then Allah will look beyond that, then he'll increase your iman so the next time you feel ill to that. Because when you repent your asking Allah sincerly Ya Allah forgive, again and again Allah loves that more than someone just saying Allah i will fail so no point repenting, so inshallah repent sincerly then inshallah you'll see the fruits of iman.

Hey I know I am just one of the many Muslims expressing his joy for you trying to be Muslim. I just wanted to say that dont put those things you cannot overcome as a barrier for you to become Muslim. Becoming Muslim is based on the belief itself, once you believe in its tenets you become Muslim, then the journey can begin to change yourself, and insha'Allah it will be easier. But dont delay your shahadah because of fear you wont follow it. Shaytan comes at u from everywhere.
