اللهم إني أعوذ بك أن أشرك بك شيئا وأنا أعلمه و أستغفرك لما لا أعلمه
Allahumma inni a3uudhu bika an ushrika bika shay2an wa ana a3lamuhu wa astaghfiruka limaa laa a3lamuhu
Oh Allah I seek refuge in You that I commit Shirk with You while I am aware of it and I ask You to forgive me if I am doing it unintentionally.

The beautiful dua which Yasir Qadhi said was "Allahuma inne a'uthoobika an ushrika bika shay'an wa ana ahlamuhu wa astagfiruka li'maa la ahlamuhu - Oh Allah I seek refuge in you that I commit shirk with You while I am aware of it and I ask you to forgive me if I done it unintentionally" Forgive me & correct me if I am wrong.

its very important for people to be able to relate to u when you're tryin to bring a msg accross.. i feel the same way. my heart is not pure yet but im working on it...so that i can do everything for Allah and Allah ONLY. Amin

Allah SWT will forgive anything you have done and were not at knowledge that it is bad or haram. As long as you have a sincere intention to go back to Allah, that is all that is needed (a sincere heart). wallahu a'alam

Allah Taala needs prayer with pure intention and not a shared offering. Dr. Yasir Qadhi convincingly points out the great danger of intention of momin being mixed with seeking appreciation of people also while praying to Allah or doing good deeds for pleasure of Allah. May Allah Taala save us from such dual intentions. May Allah Taala bless this great scholar. Aameen
I think the beautiful thing about islam is that it didn't condemn the basic human nature like jelaous,envy,hatred,lust,pride jus like that hardly it actually says it is common to get those but you will be in trouble only if you hold on to it all the way.....so that's like accepting the human biology and at the same time we can evade all those through discipline and practice..... isn't this a highest spiritual thing....

I have plenty of queries in regards this issue
1. What about someone who refrain from doing good deeds which he/ she usually does in private when there's people around because of shyness.
2. Someone who lock himself in a room while doing salah fearing that people might enter the room and interrupt his concentration or lowering his recitation so that people outside the room could not hear it. Is this Riya as well ?
3. Someone who delay his salah because of worldly business. For example, working in the office or in the midst of school lesson. It seems like he is giving more priority to dunya than hereafter. Is this also Riya.
4. What about a person who goes early to the Masjid for the Jummah because he wish to do iktikaf in the masjid and to have his lunch there and also to meet a friend. Does he gain any rewards ?
I wish to ask these questions to scholars but I have yet receive response from them pertain to other questions that I emailed them weeks ago. Can anybody with provide an explanation to this please.

A man cannot show off if he prays at home sincerely to Allah whilst living totally isolate. But I have noticed shaytan sometimes intice me that I had a bit of pride in my recitation being sound whilst in prayer . I quickly remove that thought. It is shaytan only

if you do it becuase its time and you usually dont want that other people look at you, then its not. But if you do it that people say "Wow what a muslim!" then its riyaa and you have to repent.

if you happen to be praying outside and people happen to see you than that is not riyaa; however, if you go out so people can see you pray, it depends what your intention is; is it to show your religion overtly for educational or is it to show off?
No it’s not. Sometimes it’s time to pray and you have no choice. I pray outside a lot but I don’t do it to show off but I don’t care who sees me
I would like to know whether letting someone to copy from you at exams for to keep the freindship relationship is a minor shirk as well.

I think its not a stupid question. This type of deeds can be in many diffrent situations. Example: someone ask me for help. I am helping this person just to keep the friendship. So that the Person is ok with me or maybe thinks good about me. Not for Allah. So the intention of this all is not pure, as i can understand ? or?

Asad Irfan We don’t repent to Allah All-Mighty through UA-cam, the UA-cam platform connects those who are in darkness to grant them understanding & light from God.
