@@guhbruhmaste4557 fun fact: Problem Solverz WAS going to be an Adult Swim show, but I think the people at Adult Swim said that the show looked too """cutesy""" which lead to it being pushed to Cartoon Network. Yeah why did they think it looked cutesy, it's anything but
Love the style, and love seeing the process. I feel like I just gained insight I can use with artists during feedback (I work in games). I really appreciate you showing the step-by-step and explaining interconnectivity of color in a piece. It's important for non-artist coworkers to get exposed to language/concepts beyond "make it pop!".
I was sitting here for a long time before realizing that the Harvest Orc's middle face was not two eyes and a snout, but a unique eye... I thought it was some cute doggo/bear face
It isnt real concept art right? Some kinda mirning sketch but u cant take tht seriously. No details, no variation, no real colors. No one will take it in real job
Thats exactly what concept art is, you dont do fancy artwork you just create sketches to explain ideas and the rest is done by the team working on the actual product.
@@mikeostwald9645 well team will do actual concept art he is more narrative guy. half pictures in just black man its not concept art. its a sketch tumbnail wtvr but not a concept art. U will not find job in a company with tht.
Amazing walkthrough of the thought process and techniques! Especially all in spirit of experimentation and not clinging to any particular techniques, but rather finding the right ones for the job. But that music that starts some time during 15th minute is godawful! :(

‘Use sparingly’. Such good advice for effects. You can get a bit overexcited when you learn a new tool or technique in Photoshop! Thanks Scott.
Finally i can prevent my drawings from looking like "The problem solverz"
When I was a kid I thought that show was an Adult Swim show.

What are you talking about ?
He did this kind of art when he worked at Riot and on Evolve so I'm pretty sure you can get an industry job usung this technique haha.

Why people always assume concept art is about details and good rendering?
