    I have a CamPark trail camera but I don’t remember the model. It doesn’t work very well. I drive by it and it doesn’t record but sometimes it records . It’s just hit and miss. I can’t figure it out...have went through the settings numerous times. I think it’s just defective. I bought an Apeman next and its been superb...so I just bought another one. With my history of trail cameras I am now buying the extra warranty when I buy these through Amazon because I doubt they will work long. But who knows. The CamPark does have good reviews on amazon so overall they must be good.

      CamPark is my favorite camera hands down, never had a proplem with it. I only use video when I set mine up, so cant speak for the pictures.
      The settings I mentioned in this video is how I set up all my CamPark cameras, if you still have a problem try contacting their customer service dept.

      @@MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors
      I've tried just pictures and I think it works better but on video it's hit and miss. I will see if I can contact someone. They definitely have great reviews so I think it's an isolated issue. Mine runs off 4 batteries so I wonder if it's just weaker vs an 8 battery camera. I put new Duracell batteries in it, same result as the off brands.

    • @MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors
      @MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors  3 роки тому

      @@cabinman Take this for what its worth, I used cheap batteries and Duracell. When I got my Tascos I was having problems with them holding the time and date. I looked everywhere for answers, someone told me a lot of cameras dont like cheap batteries. So I dropped the dollar store batteries and tried Duracell. I still had the problem. I was told to use energizer ultra lithium, used them and never had a problem again. Humor me and try the energizer ultra lithium batteries. I know they are a bit more expensive, but it's all I use now.

      Great advice, thank you. I have always preferred Energizer since I was a kid but I got a good deal on the Duracell and I thought it would be ok. I had a couple Wildgame Innovations (sort of cheap cameras) and one worked great and one worked like this CamPark and it finally died after a few months and the good one lasted about 9 months before dying but caught everything in its path until it kill over.
      You just never know.

      @@cabinman That's crazy, I have Wildgame trerra 12 that I bought from Wal-Mart for 19.00
      It's been in the woods for 2 years, still taking video. I believe I only changed the batteries in that camera 3 times now.
      My cameras stay in the woods 24/7.

    Hi, I just got my first trail camera. Your video is very good for helping me with the settings but then you left me hanging. Could you please tell mr what I have to do next? I have tried practicing with the camera in my house and it never takes a picture or a video. What does it mean when the light flashes on the front for a few seconds and then it goes out? Please help…the camera was a gift and I really want to use it!

    • @MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors
      @MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors  2 роки тому

      If you followed all the steps make sure you have good batteries in the camera. Some trail cameras are finnicky about the batteries. You should use Energizer ultimate lithium batteries. give that a try. If still no luck, then you will need to contact campark support.

    Hi Joey I’m still watching but already have a question. Looking for another trail cam. I have the CamPark T45A. The pics are great and the video is great I would definitely get a 2nd in a heartbeat except for one thing. The sound is turned on but it is very low. If I listen to it at Max volume I can barely hear it. My BushNell cam has excellent sound so this really bothers me. I love to hear the birds chirping and well everything! I wonder if I just got a dud. Maybe I should turn the sound off and it will work- about the only thing I haven’t tried. Still watching... Char

    • @MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors
      @MySliceOfHeavenoutdoors  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Char, I have never used the CamPark T45A so I don't know much about it. I can tell you out of all my cameras I like the CamPark cameras the best. i have the T80, T85 and the T86. The T80 has been in the woods for over 2 years now and never had a problem with it.
      I have heard from a couple people that they had problems with camPark but I never have. I put my T85 back out a few weeks ago and if it lasts as long as the T80 I will be happy.
      if you are looking for another trail camera check out some of my reviews in my Trail camera playlist - ua-cam.com/video/9yzj42nRAVU/v-deo.html
      if you see something you like ask me questions about it and I will answer the best I can.
      I still have 3 cameras I need to do a review on, hopefully in a few weeks I will have them up.

    • @trailcameratexaswildlife9526
      @trailcameratexaswildlife9526 3 роки тому +1

      Hey thanks for that reply! I will definitely be watching more videos and looking at more reviews and may either go with a second BushNell Trophy Cam or another CamPark bit another model. The pics are just so nice! The night pics are even great. If the sound is good on another model I know I will be happy with it. I do wish the CamPark camera that I have took a full sized SD card instead of a micro SD card. I find the micro cards hard to put in and take out and am afraid I will drop them in the grass. Thanks again, Char😊
