Thanks for these tips! I'm a FTM and 36 weeks pregnant so this advice is good to hear! :)

No one mentioned you can “break” your tailbone in labor. My tailbone still gives me issues if I sit wrong and my daughter is 4 months old. The tailbone pain was FAR worse than the pain of tearing for me and I was terrified of tearing.

Oh my gosh I didn’t realize that either!!! I’m so sorry that happened! It definitely sounds worse than tearing!

Oh my goodness yes to the naked around people part! My husband is a preacher and I’m a very modest person and during labor I did not care! I was in so much pain and just ready to get him out I could’ve cared less! I did not get an epidural so I felt everything and I could feel myself pooping when I was pushing but at the time I didn’t care either 😂 I never experienced the burning when I peed but I was so swollen it throbbed. It still is a little sore sometimes and I’m a month PP.

I totally feel you!! I was mortified of thinking about all those people seeing me naked but you're so right you literally do not care in the moment!! That's amazing you had a natural birth!! How was doing it natural? I've contemplated trying to go natural with baby #2 but I'm so scared!!

@@MeghanMeade it was pretty exhausting and painful leading up to pushing but my baby had rapid decent and his shoulder got stuck on my pelvic bone. So it was more painful from that but it made it go so quick. I heard epidurals also slow it down. My water broke at 4:30 am and he was born at 11:27 am. I only pushed for maybe 5 minutes. I actually begged for an epidural but it was time to push soooo that was a hard no from them 😂. I don’t regret it at all though. I was more scared of the epidural than doing it naturally tbh.
