I mean to be fair, the entente also “invaded” Russia after WW1 in real life despite being exhausted as well. Invading a country doesn’t necessarily mean drafting the entire population and sending them over there, it could’ve been a relatively small combined task force of sorts. Especially in this era when China was not really a unified nation with a strong central government, you probably don’t need a huge army to establish your influence there. Invading the US is a different story though. I don’t see that as a likely scenario.
Meanwhile everyone ignored the fact Bismarck was offered the role of head foreign diplomat of the German Empire, but didn’t take it because his pride only wanted the Chancellorship. He also made a mess in the Balkans, which lead to the war, all the German Emperor did was support Austria (their ally) the same way UK helped Belgium (their ally)
@@willowisp415 He messed it up by not resolving the issue but rather letting it fester because he didn’t want to anger either Austria or Russia. Russia expected Germany to support Slavic independence from the ottomans due to in the past not having intervened in the German unification wars. This could easily have been done, Bulgaria and another state there I believe Romania? Already had German princes which would be allies of Germany, while a satisfied Russia would mean no chance for the French to buddy up with them…
I love how this is really a mirror to the Man in the High Castle, just as unrealistic and I like how you made it so Germany is seemingly a heroric nation as this timeline's world is very much German dominated and all atrocities and events are more than likely going to be altered to fit the German narrative. Nah, that would honestly be a rather average hoi4 game. Unless there's a scripted peace most wars last until the complete capitulation of one side or the other, with major countries being the focus. Players can also archive great results against the AI.

You can kind of have that in the eu4 mod ante bellum its basically a mod where a lot of important events changed like the battle of hastings, the danish are still nordic, Slavs are still in northern germany etc.

He could have given them the title of 'Caesar' or sub-emperor, like emperors had often done since the empire became to big to be handled by one emperor.
I like how in all scenarios, South America is unscathed. Although in this case, democracy lovers would probably migrate to the region and affect its XXth century history. Those who prefer to live in shaky democracies vs literal monarchies.
You know describing the Entente as bloodhtirsty hooligans only out for war is preety accurate when you consider that only France was killing millions of its citizens for its survival as a prosporous nation while America and the British just decided to send them in cause they wanted to.
France at least had the need to reclaim the land that was taken from them, the brits just wanted to secure they'd not have competition and the USA wanted to get back the money they lent.

If they allowed france to fall they would be sure to expect a germany that was strong enough to make britain run for the bank trying to spend money to protect their naval dominance. there were probably other factors to but this one I just remembered the most.

I mean WW1 and WW2 already have a lot of similarities tbh. Just imagine Austria Hungary taking WW2 Italy’s place in terms of incompetence and always asking Germany for help, and the Ottoman Empire taking WW2 Japan’s place in terms of being the non-white non-temperate nation that was sort of always on the back-foot and losing territory throughout the war and never really having a chance of winning unless Germany won in the west. The biggest difference was probably that instead of knocking France out of the war first and then losing to the Russians in the east, Germany in WW1 knocked Russia out of the war but lost to the French (et al) in the west.

This plan was almost completed, but because germany's losses in ww1, it has canceled. So if germany won ww1 it is almost certain that finland would join germany or being controled indirectly.
