You said the polyadenylation is added by RNA polymerase 2 which is wrong , it is added by another polymerase knows as PAP (Polyadenylation polymerase).

Yes in Aakash our teacher also told us it is by polyadynelate polymerase not RNAP 2 and clearly mentioned in class 12 biology chapter molecular basis of inheritance

Everything but the end was right. After CF1 and CF2 come in and cleave the pre-mRNA, the cleavage factors and CstF pop off and PAP (poly A polymerase) creates the poly A tail by elongating the 3' OH end.
    -Slow polyadenylation from 0-15 As
-Fast polyadenylation up to 250 As

what have been said by @abz down there is correct.. polyadylation is commenced by PAP (poly A polymerase) becasue rna pol 2 never come with m-RNA transcript .

Thank you for all your vids! These series about DNA transcription are super useful. It covers about 3 long hours of my bio mol cours! Beside, you explain very well and make all this process look easier :)

Cleavage stimulation factor(CST) binds on GU rich tract not on AAUAAA sequence along with CPSF.Please make it correct!
    Salute your work shomu da!

I think you might have some confusion, let me clarify few things. CSF what you mentioned is actually CstF and CstF binds to G/U rich region. Anyway, I like your lecture. Thanks for this lecture.

instead of CA sequence it is GU sequence which is recognized by CSF.

sir cleavage factor cuts at specific site and PABP attaches at that position and so on....but what is the fate of the portion that relies after the cut site of CF...??Is it degraded?
