Sinatra was the boss and yes he was right, but this song kills me every time I hear it. It makes me think of the one girl who means the world to me but can't quite get. I found Sonata on Pandora when I was already in love with her and for better or worse, this song will always be one of my favorites but will always make me think of her.

I can actually undestand this song in two ways, 1: He got really crush on someone, (i tried to look away from her as always i just tried), then he starts to dream about her and himself together and imagine impossible things (i was eager, daytime dreamer) then he get to know on her and then the girl denies him (she is all i ever dreamed, but now my skies are turning gray, it was good, i got to know her well because it made me see, that the san of san sebastian its just too hot for me) and then he cant love anything anymore and lives in some kind of "chains"(i live without my love my god i had stay in shade) (now i live my life in chains and i am married to the moon) so he kinda describes moon as desolation or kinda lonelyness i think?, and lives in sorrow. 2.same in the beginning, but when he finally know her well he founds that she would be too "hot" for him, like too difficult or just not his type, and then he found "moon", the opposite side of "sun of san sebastian" and everything in light and love and god, and then he falls in love with moon (now i live my life in chains and i am married to the moon) and so the sun of san sebastian is now with someone else (and the sun of san sebastian, is warming someone new)
I think it was a forbidden love. Just too young for him. Maybe his sister. Besides his love for her, insted of declaring his feelings he stays in the shades and lives a miserable life because he knows shit's not the right thing to do. And he made one of the best fucking power metal songs ever. Worth it.

Still in my opinion for the awesome skills what the band has / had, like the extreme voice of Tony Kakko, The amazing skills what Henrik Klingenberg has, and not to forget the epic style and speed Jani Liimatainen had made every song unique and so darn great. The duette of Henrik and Jani are pure gold, every solo with their synthetized solos made soanta arctica what it is in my ,I fell in love with them because of this trio.
