At 0:25 I rarely pick book set in my country, and I have one on my TBR but I'm so scred because it's historical fiction Wtich I love but because my grand grandfather is there as chrther It's called My Russian Grandmother and her American Vacuum cleaner by Mair Shalev
also i’d say one of the only downfalls of mo dao zu shi is that theres time skips from the past to the future that can be kind of confusing if you haven’t seen the show and don’t already know what’s going on, but if you want, i can make a list of chapters that have flashbacks !!! (most of the bouncing back and forth is towards the end of the book)
