I’m wondering if you’ve done any videos that show the cost of living there like taxes, healthcare etc. We’re currently living in France but are considering a move and Spain is on the list. We’d love to be able to get some sort of comparison. End of January we’re doing a road trip or should I say train trip to Barcelona and then onto Benidorm. We’ll definitely watch out for you and bend your ear is possible 😂

I owned a property rental buisness for 20 years in Spain. Moved here with two school age children ,i have just retired. With any long term rental we added options if people were unhappy renting they could walk away and we return deposits cancelling any contract. I would say that is rare in Spain, we are people persons life should not be all about money. People sometimes feel the area is not right. It must work both ways as the guest may not be right for us. It is usually older folks looking to relocate so make sure you have good insurance or acess to medical treatment. As you get older you will need it. Good advice if looking to buy always rent in the area first. Always remember moving to a foreign country will not take all your problems away, some it will, but will probably add a few problems you did not expect.
I'm winding up here in Dubai and my first big investment is in a motorhome. I then just plan on spending a couple of years mooching around Spain and Portugal until I find exactly what tickles my bones. After that I'm comfortable in my own skin. So not desperately searching community feel. Plus! With over 300 nieces and Nephews along with 4 of my own. I very much doubt I'll be lonely.
