The reason why Jin is my bias💜 his solo works gives comfort and healing and very realistic to human nature…. the stages we all go through and how we pass and overcome the obstacles… its all about being a part of something, someone…the vulnerability…the acceptance… humility…. gratitude….
Oh, thank you so much for this. Yes, appropriate to start with Jin as he was the first BTS vocalist to contribute to the writing of the lyrics for the group songs, namely: - Outro: Circle Room Cypher (2013) - Outro: Love Is Not Over (2015) - Boys with Fun (2015) - Spring day (2016) -- the Queen of BTS songs, where Jin was sadly never officially credited, until RM, the primary writer, acknowledged Jin as the writer of the last verse, which might be why Jin got to sing it Re the BTS solo songs for their 3 albums: - Jin contributed his lyrics to all of his 3 solo songs (Awake, Epiphany, Moon) - V co-wrote 2 (Stigma & Inner Child) - Jimin 1 (Lie) - Jungkook 1 (My Time) Jin also wrote & composed Epiphany Demo version in English, which was not chosen for Love Yourself: Answer, but did get included in their last album, Proof. Jin then became the 2nd member to start his Ch. 2 Solo act after j-hope, and the first of the Vocalists. Chris Martin was so impressed with the 1st verse he wrote, all in Korean, that he asked Jin to also write the 2nd verse. Last but least, Jin not only co-wrote the lyrics, but also contributed to composing some of his songs, like Epiphany & Moon, and even in co-producing Super Tuna.
Thanks for this, I became ARMY firstly cause Jin's blonde hair in Fire MV & by the time I hear & learned all BTS songs so touchy me. I believe all BTS members are great messengers, how could BTS have million or billion fans International if they had no skill artificial or music. Jin not just the eldest but his position in group really influence BTS music with his silver voice & his highest tone, Jin's clever charm with his genious jokes just make BTS have more middle ages fans international. I can't wait looking forward to this. I miss you My worldwide handsome Corporal Jin, saranghyeo. BTS Fighting ARMY Forever, May God bless you 💗
Oh my, thank you so much for this .. I already loved and appreciated Jin's work and his voice but watching this video made me see just how deep his thoughts are and how much he love the fans .. his song writing is really thoughtful especially for us, the fans .. make me love him even more, he is my bias actually so I really loved this 👍👍👍🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜 looking forward to the others especially RM and Suga, those 2 are magnificent writers for sure 👍👍
His song Abyss is my favorite. It was the final encouragement I needed to finally get the courage to seek professional help for my mental health issues.
Oh thank you for this - I have been in catch up mode past day or so with your fabulous analysis on each of the members - you are so so good at this and it really is so insightful - they are all so unique and so perfect as individuals and together as a group. For me, Jin is the hidden gem - I can not wait for June 2024 to see what he does as a soloist - and I will look forward to your stellar analysis at that time - Borahae.
I always look forward to your reactions and breakdown of all BTS members. I learned something new today about Jin. I had no idea Jin had written some of those songs. Jin has such a dynamic personality that I overlooked those beautiful lyrics that he has written. 😊
Hello Jin’s it was so nice of you. You said give me birthday gift they would get so sweet he just love it you won the poor man. Can’t wait to see you when you’re done your military you’re a big brother everybody want to be your little sister, brother brother hope you have a good day and thanks again for the gift that you sent to Kimmy🌹❤
Great textual analysis, thank you. Jin is an insanely shy person and an underrated songwriter and singer. His way of expressing his feelings is so pure and innocent.... Jin's lyrics are beautiful metaphorical images.... Jin you are one of a kind!!!!
I am genuinely in awe of your analytical and communication skills. Your videos are always highly informative and entertaining, and very educational. Your ability to move from explaining complicated financial accounting to videos that demonstrate your appreciation of the BTS’ member’s unique qualities and talents is impressive. Truly one of the best channels on UA-cam regarding Asian entertainment. And further proof of the diversity of the Army fandom. Keep up the great work!
Siempre me han gustado las canciones de Jin así que al escuchar como las analizas me dió una mejor comprensión de su talento como compositor, gracias, espero las siguientes 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Wow, thanks for this vid. I'm often intrigued by the unique colours of Bangtan and how they compliment one another. P.S. I'm OT7 but with a rap line bias, and vocal line bias wreckers! 🤭💜😁
I really enjoy your videos. I also enjoy Jin and his songs immensely. I hope there will be a part 2 after his album comes out. I had a slightly different interpretation. Offering it, since you asked, triggered some quite aggressive and unkind replies, jumping to conclusions, so it was easier to delete the conversation than show supposed ARMY in a bad light. Ty for asking each time for people to be respectful and kind 💜. I know comments help your algorithm. Borahae 💜
I've only been watching your videos for a few months, but UA-cam's algorithm brought this to my attention. Thank you for this Jin-focused video. This looks like a great series. Jin is my bias, so much love for this video💜 Jin's voice and lyrics are weighted with emotion. Even without knowing Korean, I loved hearing anything that featured Jin, but it was the desire to understand him that drove me to get started learning Korean and keeps me motivated to this day.
This will be the new series of yours thati need to watch... Yeeeeyyy! I always LOVE your content about BTS. The sincerity and thoughts are always there. Thank you 😘💜💜💜😘
You did this well!! A unique direction to take and much appreciated! Thank you. Can't wait to hear your breakdown of the other members' work. Your genuine love for BTS shines through. You nice, keep going!😉💜💜💜💜💜
Just ran across your channel. I love your videos which are so well made and well thought out. You help identify and highlight the different nuances of each member’s talent and perspective. I look forward to watching more. 💜
I interpret abyss differently: the you is the part of himself he tries to get in contact with but can't because of his depression. I usually like you vids, but I am not with you on this one. And seriously: "all for Army" pisses me off. However important Army is for them and I am aware it is, can't they write songs which have nothing to do with Army? I believe Tonight, Abyss or Super Tuna are songs Jin wrote for himself. And the melody for Astronaut was written by Chris Martin. And please don't forget how their songs are made, how many ppl have a say in the beat/melody/lyrics, how often the songs are "plowed over" (Suga). Suga said his 2nd mixtape was rejected by the team responsible and he wouldn't have been able to release it if Bang hadn't interfered. I feel uncomfortable about this vid, your interpretations and what comes over to me as idealization.
Halo, I'm sorry, I never trying to judge anyone, I really appreciate with your analysis about this. Maybe This was a great appreciation and interpretation of Jin’s writings, even that positives or negative. But thats hegemony of life, We are different people of course have different interpretation, so I must more tolerance about that. Thanks, please stay healthy, May God Bless you😍
Yes, some people interprete their songs are for armys or about armys. I believe this is not always the case. It can be dedicated or gift to armys but not about armys. Tonight is about his pet that he missed, Abyss, Awake is about himself.
This made me laugh, it could literally guess what? about BOTH. During an interview in weverse article? he says something along the lines of being unable to make a song that he doesn't fully embody, like can he make a song about climate change or wtvr? connect that with his state in awake, abyss, etc like "finding" a place of where he stands in BTS, saying stuff like he's only lucky he become part of BTS and doesn't think he's a part of why it's so successful. But why? wtf would he care so much then? he could literally stay pretty and accept wtvr but Jin again and again in interviews says he found meaning in life when Army loved and still loves him. That alone made him want to give back the love that he doesn't know if he's truly worthy of. He made those songs for BOTH. To comfort himself, use that as a catalyst to write a song and contribute to the group (aka one of his #1 inner conflicts and some antis shit him on), to give a message true to his heart, not to lie to the audience he cares so much about being that, that they are also his motivation to work harder for things he's not "great" at. He gives his all, you can feel it in the way he sings. You can go ahead and think cynically that he's just doing this for his career alone or something else yada yada but holy hell is it so bad to want to write something for the people he's so grateful for? OP didn't just get these stuff out of her own ass, these are excerpts from Jin himself (especially moon, coming from his own mouth during recording). It would be MORE RUDE to assume he just has depression period, and that's why he can't find himself? btw he said he had a "depressive state" and received counseling. Is it clinical/severe depression or is it the start/he's in a horrible wave? Is it the MAIN "topic/inspiration" for abyss etc (like how Suga talks about it?)? That is a different thing all on it's own you know.. what one feels and what he dedicates about. You can debate "that" but still.. really? Why over focus on something he didn't specifically choose to expand on? Instead he focused on something else to share in his interviews even if "it's" there. Heck I'm so glad Jin is very self aware especially when asking for help immediately, who to rightfully ask and it didn't become severe (and I hope it NEVER was and NEVER does). Ask again, why can't he find himself in abyss? Uh maybe because of what I said before about his thing with being a member of BTS and the overwhelming pressure of the new surge of fans and accolades? His burnout? Maybe imposter syndrome? I literally act and look like someone with depression (even went suicidal) but my diagnosis from my psychiatrist is negative but yes not completely okay/healthy. same goes for Jin. If you want it to be about depression mainly wtvr the degree? go ahead and imagine that for your PERSONAL interpretation, but about jin? you're also idealizing or imagining a "jin" inside your head, at least OP has direct statements from Jin himself. listen to him and look at him carefully. Also the thing about Chris martin's melody? like OP said, no matter what ends up in the production, the final say is still theirs. It's THEIR song after all. Like heck, I hate JK's 2 new songs but it's still something that got an "ok" signal from him aka still REFLECTS around him and his tastes even if he didn't contribute at all. I'm not going to take that away from him or not hold him accountable for whatever message he wants to relay. Tbh I really just find it weird that it can't be for his fans? If I had a fan base who wants to know more about me? then I'd literally also make a song about my own hobbies too because that's throwing two birds with one stone. I'm comfortable with writing it because I'm staying true to my heart (sincerity intact) AND it gives me joy that someone will listen and have emotions from it. like is that really far from Jin when he once said that making jokes and having people laugh at them also makes him happy whenever he's sad? If he finds strength from such purpose then is it really so bad? Maybe both songs are meant to comfort both him and his fans? Why not? Guy literally wants to advocate mental health like he says so himself. Personally i do wish to hear more songs from him that don't focus on giving back to his fans OF COURSE but that doesn't mean it's a bad thing as long as it's done well and moderately. Dude's just literally only about to make a solo album after military with limited amount of experience compared to rap line. I'll just pray and believe that he does very well because that's all I can do.
@@Vibepikodansha Ups, that is very difficult to answer for me without going into details. Out of the vocalists I listen to Jin's songs most, I like them. They are different from his persona (which I find annoying) and I certainly don't believe everything he says. He knows quite well how to sell his image. From what I have gathered he is the one most able to step back and take a look at this crazy phenomenon BTS-Army. I've loved each song Jin has released. Thank you for this video. I feel like people underestimate Jin's depth because he uses humor as a mood setter.
