This podcast has been eye opening 😊 I was told the same, I have 'so much potential' ...I had failed school..always felt behind or like I couldn't behave normally in all areas of my life, school, work, relationships etc felt like I've had a broken brain pretty much my whole life. Hearing that school shouldn't get in the way of our education is so reassuring. I was diagnosed with adhd and a serious problem with serotonin that my brain doesn't make it properly which has impacted alot of my behavior, decisions and learning capabilities..I've had it since I was a child. I was feeling limited and stuck but I've learned that I can help my brain now and there are possibilities out there. I've always had the curiosity in life..but never the courage.. think I am able to tap into the courage now. Both with what I've been discovering about the brain and hearing this podcast. Thank you Valeria and Jim ❤

I really needed this podcast today! Growth mindset is one of the most important concepts I've encountered in my life. In my recent job, which I took classes for to be certified, I found myself in a place of "delulu." Now I'm back to looking for ways to grow... and encountering my own limiting beliefs and fears.

Thank you so much for sharing this Valeria. My 19 year old daughter fell down the stairs when she was a baby.
Hit her head really hard and thankfully was good after. But she is being struggling with her education and her learning abilities. I never thought it was related to her accident because that’s what doctors told me. I’m literally crying 😭 she was recently in college and dropped out because of a teacher that told her she could never be a good artist and that she would never make it in the industry. I’m so sad and also angry at this teacher. I wish my kid could get mentor but this amazing man. Please let me know how I can get some help for her. Thank you so much and blessings to you and your family.
