How to Update an Old Metal Suitcase

Another great Dump-find makeover!!! Such great wear and patina on this, to make an awesome decor piece. I love these aged pieces that carry with them stories of their past. There was no way that I wanted to cover up the rust... I just had to ensure that i removed all of the 'loose' rust before proceeding. I went with the first idea I had but now... I have another... which brings with it hopes that I come across a find like this in future! Isn't that always the way?

I used some of the flowers from this transfer on the two tiered blended table video, used a bunch in this and still have more than enough for another good sized project! It really goes far because the florals are so beautiful and vibrant!
