- The reason it took us so long to bring this one back is primarily due to laziness. We didn’t want to have to tune differently for this one, and it can’t be done unless you do. Yeah, lame excuse. Well, it turns out that we really should have been jamming this all along! We kind of love doing this one as of right now!! And it’s in drop D, so you only need one finger to play it!

@@mark7166 yeah, her mother is being difficult but in the end it's about the little girl so I'm just doing my best and will see her as soon as I can.
@@nicholasmccaskie9737 Mothers can be tough. My mom was the same with my dad when I was growing up. It's too bad they don't understand (or, in the worst case, care about) the damage they're doing, not only to the fathers, but the children.

Damn that happened to me too with my newborn. She's 2 no but the first year I missed out, not because I didn't want to be there, but because the mom is so difficult and didn't want me near them. I wrote 3 songs during those times all about my Daughter. Some sad ones and a happy one. I hope you get to see your daughter too. As a father in a similar situation I feel your pain. Only God knows how much I've cried (and believe me I never cry even at funerals, it's rare).

I’ve been following you guys since life in general. Found you in 96. this song has always been one of my favorites. Really anything on panic is absolutely amazing! That said, I had no idea this song was played in drop d tuning. Honestly didn’t think you guys had any songs in drop d. Maybe you guys can play kicking and screaming from panic? I’d love to see that live. Love you guys! Hopefully us fans will actually get to see you love in person again soon. If you ever come back to the east coast, I’m there. Doesn’t matter where, I’ll drive from Maine to Florida to see you guys.
