She also earned the Croix de Guerre with Palme by France and was made an honorary Member of the Order of the British Empire.
She was a badass for sure but by far not the only kickass female operating in WWII.
Like Virginia, almost none received any credit for their efforts to support the Allies.

What an incredible woman, amazing story.
If hollywood could focus their energy on The Limping Lady and similar "girl boss" stories instead of defiling cultural icons like Star Wars and LOTR they could really make some money and people would like them again.

Every one of his stories would make a great movie. Hoping they remember that it's THE WAY he tells the stories that makes each story so enjoyable and memorable.
Of course, a "mini series " on t.v. would be able to tell her whole story and do it justice.

GENSCH ( GEN - T - CH ) it does sound like the ( CH ) sound but instead of a ( T ) it has an ( S ) in the middle
