What a gorgeous pull!! 😅 I think that if you partially pre-mixed the paints with a palette knife before putting them on the plate, you wouldn't need to use open acrylics or an extender. Just a thought, if someone out there doesn't have those materials...
I think on a smaller plate this would be true, but this is a 40cm x 50cm, so it is very hard anyhow to spread normal paint without it drying too quickly on a big surface as this one.

Use tissue paper to lay over the jeans and lift the paint from the sides. I love using fabrics on the Gelli plate!🇨🇦
