It’s been a LONG decade waiting for the next college football game. It was love by many and they just stopped making it. Curious if the success of this game will lead to the long waited return of a college basketball game. That would be fun.
It’s hard to do commentary in football games as essentially they record lines then EA implements them in the game and they’ll auto trigger the voice lines when a player reaches a certain thing, it’s not really Fowler, it’s more of EA, they should easily have the technology to fix this

And every other sports gaming company the commentary is incredibly hard to get right on a football game especially, since they send in voice lines and they’re triggered by when a play happens instead of them commentating over a real game where it sounds a lot smoother. You would think they’d have the technology to fix the delay on the calls tho, hoping something like AI can maybe fix commentating in the future

You can tell the people that are new to this game complaining about ratings college has always been this way due to high recruits going to the same team and having to sit that doesn’t make them any lesser of a player still good just waiting they turn it may be players that has put work in and earned they spots may be older players or seniors ahead of them and they are still learning but have all the talent this is nothing like a rookie on madden these are young players 18 - 23 years old that can excel on the college level which is why they are still rated high they can easily start elsewhere
Texas has zero secondary, so deep balls will pummel us all game long (why teams don’t exploit that, I will never understand!) and our RB against Oregon’s defense is a mismatch as well…

Only gripe I have about DKR is they didn’t and the Longhorn charge on the big screen on 3rd downs. They added the Nittany Lion sound to Penn State stadium on 3rd downs, but nothing for Bevo and DKR.

Being that this is in Beta! It’s easy to tell that the commentary needs a quick fixing which I’m sure EA is aware of if people submit it to a developer, the excitement needs to be there! So far Rece Davis has the excitement, Fowler we know has it too but smh it’s not like getting there atm. I’m sure EA will fix this
This honestly looks so good and not just a Madden reskin. Just hate us PC players will be left out and have to mod Madden smh..I do wish they had more halftime activities with the bands, drumlines, cheerleaders, etc..such a big part of college football
