For your tattoo, may I recommend, on your ankle or leg, a black silhouette of a Beefeater 💂 with his bearskin hat coloured in with the Union Jack. 🇬🇧
It’s an icebreaker (you know a lot about it), it’ll look great whilst wearing shorts but most importantly, people love Brits, especially if you say you’re one of them. They’ll happily buy you a drink. 😎
For your tattoo I suggest the white rose of Yorkshire on a blue background
You should react to queen guards complaion of people going to far . It show there seriously not playing
I'm sending you a package of British goodies!!
JT Reacts congrats on 31k subs I’m from uk lol and I like ur videos so keep up the good work☺️☺️🇬🇧👍👍
A lot of people don't realise that the soldiers in the Guards Division are incredibly well trained infantry soldiers that deploy to all warzones/conflicts that we as a country partake in. This whole 'queens guard' concept/stereotype is simply their traditional ceremonial duty.
Happy Mother’s Day to everyone in the Uk and everywhere else that celebrates today!
Happy Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day
@Andy XxX ya most of the time where I’m from people call it Mother’s Day and I don’t go to church and where I’m there is a national lockdown so we can’t go to them
@Andy XxX ...not called that in the UK. What has going to church got to do with mothers day anyway? The majority of people these days are not even Christian.
@@_Professor_Oak mothering sunday is actually the proper name for mothers day here in the UK
Proud to be married to a Coldstream Guard who did 29 years service.
Septum juncta in Uno.
Please Thank him for All that he's done 🇬🇧
The queens guard are actualy front line soldiers who do tours of Afghaniistan and previously Iraq Bosnia etc. They are real fighting soldiers. They do ceremonial duties between tours.
my friend is one! he says the Queen is actually really funny!
Most are exceptional service members special forces ect
It is a special privilege to be chosen to guard the queen. My friends son did it. He was an exceptional soldier who tragically was killed in Afghanistan due to sloppy mine clearing outside a base.
@@lemonjapp
So sorry for your friends loss
@@madyottoyotto3055 No they are mostly normal members of the Guards Battalion or sometimes other units like the Gurkhas or the RAF Regiment.
"They're protecting my sugar plum" 😂🤣😂🤣 Happy mother's day y'all 😉
"Ain't nobody layin a hand on my baby boo!" 🤣😂🤣 dying rn 🤣😂🤣
My two sons used too guard the queen.. they where in the Irish guards I'm proud of them
Happy mothers day to people in the uk!
Thankyou
My understanding is that when Michael Fagin broke into the Queen’s bedroom, she hit a silent panic button and talked to him until the police arrived.
Your boo has juice!
There's a documentary or something like this somewhere, I watched, she didn't panic, was really interesting, I love our royal family ❤
He had disabilities and and was told by the job centre if you have an issue talk to the queen so he broke in and spoke to her she listened to him and then spoke to the pm and addressed the issue appentky she was very understanding towards him.
They're all serving members of the British Army, had a friend who's brother was a Queen's Guard
My grandad used to be a queens guard back in the 70's/80's
That’s so cool 👍
😂😂i love the fact that your calling the queen your sugar plumb and maybe you should get her as your tattoo maybe a side profile like on the coins or the postage stamps ✌🇬🇧
Why don't we (subscribers) send him a quid to get him to England. People. Just £1 can help this American visit the motherland from the colonies. Just £1 can add culture and knowledge and some extra humour (yes that's how you spell "HOOMER") So please donate to the "C. A. F" (culture America Fund) and help enlighten one American at a time.

Happy Mothering Sunday to all those mothers and motherly figures who care for others.

Pleased to see you call it Mothering Sunday.
@@susantaylor1403 - nah, it's mainly called "Mothers' Day" here in the UK too but it's on a different date from in the USA. Mothering Sunday is the old Church name for the day and it's pretty much fallen into disuse. A rough estimate of the cards in the shop this year - over 95% said "Mothers' Day" and less than 5% said "Mothering Sunday".
31.6K. Quite an achievement, for an American who uploads videos, about our fair country.well done. The Queen would be very impressed. 🇬🇧😁
Beautiful beautiful English people, what about the poor Welsh, Scots and Irish 🤣
What about ‘em?........(only kidding!!) 🖐🤪🤚

As we would say, don't take the piss
They are also at the Tower of London, lots of videos of them, shouting at tourists. At the Tower, you have the Yeoman Warders, who are ex military, they will move people on who are a nuisance. People shouldn't mess with the boys, fully trained military personnel.
As a former member of the Scot's guards, there are some truths to this video but some crap.
Yeah infographics show is just wank sadly.
I would love to hear more!!
Ex Coldstreamer here, I completely agree

JT, my brother was in the Coldstream Guards. He never guarded the palaces. But he did do the trooping of the colour.....he passed out. We took the piss right out of him for that.
Oh and I've met the Queen before. I was about 4 or 5, and she was opening the tyneside metro system. I got picked out of the crowd to give her a flower. It would have been around 1981/82.
My dad plays golf with a guy who was the right hand man to the queen. Everytime the queen wanted something. It was his job to do it. I could listen to his story's all day.
I love all your videos and I appreciate your obvious respect for my country. Keep up the good 👍 work .🇬🇧🇺🇲
As s Scotsman I found your opening line about all you English people a little off. I am not disputing the English are indeed wonderful, but I think you'll find the Scots ,Welsh and Northern Irish are also wonderful, so It would be greatly if you could use British of which I am very proud to be, thanks bud, keep up the brilliant content.
How the hell did that video pronounce Sandringham😂😂. Sounded nothing like it
San dringum? It sounds like somewhere in Australia.
So true!! I was like what?!
Big fan from England 🏴
@@Lorddonen hey Welsh guy! I’m Welsh too! 😂🏴
As others have said , I'm just amazed that the video did not mention that all the guards are fully trained infantry. It did mention that they were 'security' but not combat ready. In fact I seem to remember, but don't know if it's still the case, but the Guards regiments used to be one step up from the regular infantry. I think that when the UK recovered the Falklands, they only sent Guards regiments along with the Paras, Marines, Gurkhas and SF?
Your sugar plum 🤣🤣🤣

Hello from us “ British people “
Not many years ago the Queen would jump in one of her cars (not the Rolls) and drive herself, there was no outriders or escort. I was visiting Windsor Castle when I was told she had popped in to get something.
My dad became an Irish Guard at the end of WW2 and was stationed at the Tower of London where the Crown Jewels are guarded,
You should do a vidoe on Windsor castle as its 1000 years old and has tones of history and just looks amazing
tones?
@@baylessnow means a lot history behind the castle
Mark Scouler I think @baylessnow is querying the spelling. @mona putin means "tonnes" not "tones", which obviously has a very different meaning.
@@penname5766 yeah I did mean that, was not thinking when I was writing that
She also has James Bond 007 lol. Also Michael Fagan, the man who became infamous after breaking into Buckingham Palace in 1982 and finding his way to the Queen's bedroom, so you may have a chance lol.
As was offered the 2nd battalion Scots Gaurds, I'm 6'2", the shiney second, hahaha, but I ended up in the LI, LIGHT INFANTRY, as all the men in my family had, swift and bold. Durham Lad.
Need to watch a British version, you'll learn more, for example, the Queen doesn't drive around in a Cadillac (shown in the vid), she often drives herself around in a Range Rover!
My dad was household cavalry in the early 80s same basic duties as the foot guards just different uniform and on a horse, when not on ceremonial duties he'd be driving cheiftan main battle tank
You have white socks on lmao (if u guys are wondering what I’m on abt watch the vid at 0.59 😂)
Juice, i asked a royal guard directions, before he could answer, he looked around to see if anyone was watching, all true :)
Due to Covid-19 changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace is still happening but with no music or ceremony. The Royalty and diplomatic Protection group protect the Queen and other royals also SEG (Special Escort Group). The residences protected by The Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards are Buckingham Palace, St James Palace, Clarence House (former home of The Queen Mother), Windsor Castle and Holyrood House in Scotland and very rarely Balmoral Castle. The Life Guards and Blues and Royals are on guard at Horseguards Parade. No guards regiment is on duty at Sandringham House in Norfolk. There are videos on UA-cam about The Guards regiments foot and horse.
It looks like most people have mentioned what I would have said. But from someone who was trying to join the grenadier guards back in 2014, can confirm that if you need piss, you have to do it in your trousers. There's no special requirements to join the guards. As long as your eligible to join the British army, you can join a guards regiment. They are basically infantry soldiers, but they are required to do two extra weeks on top of their basic training for ceremonial duties. The difference between the guards and other infantry regiments are, the regular infantry soldiers would do more soldier training, and the guards would do both infantry and ceremonial duties. I believe each guards regiment is split in half, one half does ceremonial duties, and then the half does infantry training ready for deployments. And then of course they switch places. Also, a private in the guards regiments are paid the same as other privates in the army, which is £20,400.
There are also lots of normal/armed police officers who deal with the public and open and shut the gates at Buckingham Palace
If you look at the Regimental Flag ( The Colours ) that is paraded through the guards ranks on the 'Changing of the Colours Parade' you will see it is covered in battle honours - these were won when fighting enemies .The Guards Regiments are ALL fighting soldiers . I'm sure there are videos of the Guards regiments in action . Some are infantry and some are armoured divisions .
Real soldiers!!!! Please tell people NOT to disrespect them. They are NOT DISNEYLAND!! We pronounce... ''BUCKINGUM '' PALACE.
the guards are well trained serving soldiers, they are front line troops and have been involved in every conflict the British armed forces have participated in over many hundreds of years. The ceremonial duties they perform are just a small part of their role that happens between deployments around the world.
Juice.
There are a few videos of the ceremony of the keys - how they lock up the tower of London each night. Some are better than others. Apparently it has, only been late once during WW II when a bomb exploded close by. When the cheif warder wrote to George VI to apologise for it being late the King replied that under the circumstances it was understandable - but (possibly in jest) not to let it happen again.
Buckingham is pronounced buk-ing-um with a soft g .
Sandringham is pronounced sand-ring-um with a soft g
A light stress on the first syllable and join the syllables up, don't break the words up.
Please react to The Top 10 Times The Queen Was A Badass. You’re going to love it!
Other videos have covered lots of different parts of the life of the queen from the serious function of opening and closing parliament , her role as head of state for many millions of people the world over. But there are softer and funny events that she shows her relaxed self.Did you know she gatecrashed a wedding in Bolton ( north west England). The queen was in the area of Bolton ( on an official visit) on the same day as a local wedding, the best man sent an invitation to the queen+1 to include the story in the best man speach,( the idea was that during the speach someone would knock and the jokes would follow ) the guy got a call from the queen's secretary to accept the invitation.... after a lot of proof it wasn't a prank he was given strict instructions on silence and how the meeting would happen.
When the call came that the queen and party was about to arrive , two very serious men in black allowed a puzzled bride and groom out of the ballroom then blocked the door.
The newlyweds had no idea what was about to go down....
Standing in the entrance to the ballroom seeing firstly burley well dressed men looking around the room, then uniformed senior police officers and high ranking military officers, then the queen and Prince Philip ..... she made the most Unforgettable experience for the newlyweds and the story was a huge hit with the people of Britain.
Just look how many Pop stars do the same thing these days!!!.
I'm ex RN and served for 8 years and I am very proud that I swore an oath to her and the people of Britain.
I know some will think my views are outdated and not relivent in today's world, but the people who have and are now serving in the military will understand.
Love watching your videos. The guy on what you were watching seemed to have a problem saying Sandringham and I wasn't sure about the police dressed in American cop uniforms too. The queen also stays at Hollyrood castle in Edinburgh, Scotland although spends more time at Balmoral in Scotland. You asked if people would type the word juice so there it is, I do watch till the end!
Why would someone aggravate a serving member of the military? It’s so disrespectful!!! Tourists visiting the UK need to remember that. Don’t piss off the Queens Guard! They are not a tourist attraction so have respect! They are working!Makes me quite angry 😡
Money doesn’t matter. It’s a matter of pride and protecting the Queen. These people are serving their country 🤦🏻♀️ 😤🏴😤
Still love you though JT. No beef with you ❤️
The starting salary for an infantry private - and thus for members of the regiments that provide the Guard is around £20,000 ($27,850)
English people JT? What about the rest of us?
we can't see it? it's only for English people lol
Agree, what about the Welsh, Irish and Scots?.
You’re already successful bro.... ✌️

The guards are made up of 7 regiments. They are classed as elite infantry along with Ghurkas and paras, working behind enemy lines mainly.
There are multiple regiments in the household division and cavalry such as Irish, Welsh, Scotts, Coldstream and the Grenadiers. They don’t just guard all day they are actually deployed to Afghanistan and such areas
Judging by the fact that the soldiers in the video had the buttons on their tunics in groups of three they were from the Scots Guards.
The guy who got to queen actually wanted to talk to her about how people are forgotten in politics and he just talk to her about that and he got in by blind spot that isn't there any more and Queen guards have a lot of ex special forces members and they don't play around. And I injoyed the video . Your welcome
Another great uk video. More videos of Maggie the puppy 😍. (Juice)
Quick tip! When pronouncing “Buckingham”, we usually tend to pronounce the “ham” like “hum”/“uhm”! Loving these videos JT, keep up the good work! (Juice!)
Do a reaction to "when the RAF nuked America twice" very cool.
JT, coincidentally I binge watched the first five episodes of Season 4 of The Crown on Netflix UK yesterday ( 13th March ) and in episode 5 it showed Michael Fagan and him breaking into Buckingham Palace not just once but twice.
On the first occasion he got in through an unsecured window and stole and drank the wine that was mentioned in this video and the Queen wasn't in residence there on that occasion. On the second occasion he broke a window and then gained entry - he ended up sitting on the end of the Queen's bed and talking to her about the situation throughout the whole of the U.K. at that time with regard to Thatcher's political policies and the three million plus unemployment figures which she'd created and how they'd directly affected him. Funnily enough he injured himself when he broke the window and the Queen allowed him to clean himself up in the adjoining bathroom and she could've very easily summoned the guards and / or the police while he was doing that.
Another funny thing is that he was a painter and decorator by profession and he criticised the shoddy work in Buck House and even offered to put his skills into operation to help to improve the decor and he also said that he knew a glazier that could replace the window that he'd broken....you can't even make it up when something as funny as that happens, can you?
As a consequence of his actions he didn't get charged with anything more serious than the theft of the bottle of wine during his first 'invasion' and he ended up spending three months in a psychiatric hospital in Liverpool and then released back into the community....I'm sure that the Queen might've had something to do with the leniency of that sentence, didn't she? He returned to London and has lived there ever since - 39 or so years later. :-)
It still amazes me that so many people don't understand that the Queen's Guards are actually serving British Army Soldiers, who see combat tours overseas just like any other Army unit.
oh btw,Sandringham is Located in NorfolK...he missed the blo*dy K off for some reason 😂😂😂
White socks,... Juice!....❤️from🇬🇧 😷

Coldstream the oldest regiment in the whole of the army, their collar badge being the same as the Garter Standard the oldest form of chilvery and the most senior as well (like MBE's up to KBE's, its a KBE (Knighthood) or a DBE for a woman (Dame) that gives someone the eligiblity for being installed as one of the 26 garter either knights or ladies of the garter, goes back to Edward III (who made St George the patron saint of the country as well as the flag that went with it essentially made is what it means to be english lol) in 1348 ) (son of Edward II who was killed by his own nobles after almost starting a civil war though Aymer de Valence trying multiple times to prevent one from breaking out, he was the commander of the English army who commanded Methaven as well as Loudoun Hill and Bannockburn in 1314) when his daughters garter famously fell to the floor and he's said to have shouted what became its motto thats surrounding the Monarchs shield on her coat of arms Honi soit qui mal y pense
pronounced hony sarky maly ponce meaning shamed be he who thinks evil of it from French (looks like a belt surrounding the shield its really yeah a form of belt its a garter, but on garter day at Windsor in the spring you never see the actual garter all the knights and ladies of the garter are wearing).
Grenadiers (French for Grenade) the name of the French Imperial Guard led by Napoleon I think, it from the Grenadiers they stole the bear skin caps and mocked them when they now use them, themselves they were chosen by Charles II after the restoration of the Monarch and effectively pulling him out of exile after his father causing the civil wars (wars of the three kingdoms) in England the sort suppose informally the Parliamentarians vs the Royalists (where I come from where all royalists lol) so they were the first footguards for the Monarch, their collar badge being a grenade. Their ceremonial is Nijmegan company (ny-megan company is how its pronounced)
Scots (1st Battalion Scots Guards) are the obviously the Scottish one their collar badge of course being the thistle, Welsh Guards is the leek (what Princess Anne the Monarchs only daughter and hence is titled Princess Royal and the Irish being the shamrock
All have their own tunes and for somewhat their own sort of traditions really, like the Scots band using the Royal Stewart (Stuart in French when Mary Queen of Scots went to marry the French Monarch, she was the mother of James VI and I (latter in 1603) who was inturn Charles father was James as well as grandfather of Charles II
Edward III at one point banning the importing of foreign cloth at the time would have been from sometime in the 1100s though the Cistercian monestaries just a more strict form of catholicism since the banishment from St Marys or rather expulsion since the riot in St Marys in York and with the establishment of Fountains Abbey made the likes of Yorkshire really important for the cloth/wool trade well Ripon really (formerly before the Norman Conquest after the death of Harold Godwinson at Hastings) why essentially thereafter the English monarch believed they had rights to land in France (particularly Normandy). Is Brix is where its believed Clan Bruce came from Bruis or Brus in Norman French sometime after 1066 though.
Is the penultimate Anglo-Saxon Monarch being (Harolds predecessor) Edward The Confessor now is Patronised since his death and is now St Edward is the name of the monarchs coronation crown the St Edward crown which is only worn once, its the Imperial State one that normally gets worn when the Monarch formally opens Parliament every year.
The five regiments of foot guards wear bearskins NOT busbies. A Busby is shorter hat as worn by Fusiliers, the RAF, etc and is a brand name.
Lovin the videos. Can't wait till u can get over here to Scotland. JUICE 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Keep em coming, juice!
They are SERVING SOLDIERS who are rostered to be Queens guards. Also, a Bearskin hat is NOT the same as a Busby
There's some really funny videos on the net showing the guards at the palace dealing with a few idiots that were piss taking
"one time someone tryed to hurt her" yeah and the time someone shot at her and the time someone tried to kidnap her daughter and many more instances, infographics get a lot wrong
The guards are famous for wearing those furry hats and red tunics but actually, they only wear those in the warmer months of the year. In the Winter, they wear thick coats called "great coats" and a cap (You'd think, they'd wear the warmer bearskin hat in the Winter, wouldn't you?).
The police are the real guards, their weapons are most definitely loaded, they wear body armour, a body worn camera and they are more observant and vigilant than their relaxed demeanour would imply. There is a also a LOT of video surveillance and detection equipment on all the royal properties being constantly scanned for anything - anything from a cat to a human is really not getting in there unseen or without the right credentials.

The video didn't mentioned that they're also combat soldiers and were recently deployed in Afghanistan. Search 'Irish Guards in Afghanistan' and you'll see how tough they are.
You’d like "Guarding the Queen" it’s a documentary on the queens guard
The main story of the guy in the room is that the queen was calm and talked to him until help arrived basically
