mustard/kasundi sauce is a pure Bengali dish....the west stole it from india just like worcesctershire sauce!
Kolkata and the whole West Bengal's cuisine is exquisite from the rest of India, best cuisine I would say in India. The sheer variety it offers in veg, non veg, sweet to savory is unmatched.
The vegetarian food looks so good. India is heaven for vegetarians, can't wait to visit.

300 rupees us absolutely reasonable in big famous restaurants. Roadside biriyani costs about 70/80 rupees.
....best Indian cuisine :
1. Punjabi and Bengali.😍
2. South Indian. 😘
