Agribank Mentorship Success Story - Mr. Salomon Draaier

Mr. Draaier was resettled on the Remainder of Farm Wittenhorst No. 86 in 2016. After this, he resorted to fulltime farming and applied for a post-settlement loan with Agribank to increase his livestock numbers. In 2019, Mr. Draaier took part in Agribank's three-year one-on-one mentorship programme under the guidance of the Agribank mentor for the //Kharas Region, Mr. Donaven Losper. As he narrated his story, he fondly mentioned how Mr. Losper added tremendous value to his farming enterprise and assisted him in becoming a productive farmer. Starting off with just 96 small-stock, his animal numbers have increased to 400 goats and 120 sheep.
