I'm a Thai language student. I have a tutor, and I have been attending a group class for 6 months. It's amazing how much progress you've made in Thai on your own. One of your latest videos, where you mentioned that you could understand an entire episode of a drama without subtitles, was very inspiring to me. 🙌 I hope you can make more videos about how to maintain your Thai level. I've been watching all your Thai videos. I'm not learning Thai, but I'm struggling with Khmer which also has a different alphabet, and I have been struggling hahaha!! Hoping I can try out your Thai tips for learning Khmer :)
You got it! 😄 I tried learning the Khmer alphabet (and the language) because a friend speaks it. Very early into it, i realized I didn't have the time to commit to it. Khmer is quite difficult, too. I don't think I'll ever consider it again, but let me know how it goes, I'd love to hear how your Khmer journey goes!

ต is obsolete. I noticed in this video and your most recent one, you wrote this consonant 2:03 - I am curious as to why you use it?
So ต (ต่อ เต่า - middle class consonant) is not obsolete. In that part, I wrote ตลอด (always). I think you are confusing ต่อ เต่า with ฅ (ฅอ คน - low class consonant). They look similar, but they're different นะเพื่อนจ๋า. I hope that clarified things for you. Also, ขอบคุณมากค่ะ 💝
