Thanks Anthony, another cool lesson. I always find something useful and inspiring even when I go off on a tangent and end up finding my own thing to work on.
Monster playing made to seem easy. I do play an extended range bass. Tunings on two 6 strings are different. 1 bass B,E,A,D,G,C. 2 bass E,A,D,G,C,F. not quite through all permutations on bass 2. But pretty much done on bass1. As you stated. It is tuff to get all there is out of either of these basses. But it is fun. You might want to add fir students running all these exercises..... if you start to feel cramping or pain in either hand. STOP. And take a break. I have injured both hands permanently trying to go for distance of time on practice. Sucks. Great video Anthony. Keep up the great work. P.S. I think I'm going to get a 4 string and start over. Lol
Thanks for sharing your vast knowledge, you make it look effortless! I look forward to trying these 8 ideas in my “shed”. If you don’t mind sharing, what brand/gauge bass strings do you use on your Jazz? Sorry if you’ve already discussed your gear in a previous video.
Great as always Anthony! Would love and outside harmony lesson like how to add outside notes and tensions without them sounding forced. Love what you do bro!
Anthony, you are an incredible bassist and an even better teacher. Thank you bro
Awesome lesson thank you
Insightful. I have a lot of work to do. It’s daunting, but I’m glad I have tangible goals now.
Great lesson. It helps me to expand my fret board knowledge. Thank you
Very very informative and fascinating never thought of scales all across the neck glad I’ve been informed about that.
