It is important to study Daniel along with Revelation. As one person put it, Daniel is the foundation and Revelation builds on it with more information.
The 'The Thief in the Night' trilogy is fair to what the early church fathers believed. Its worth looking up Dr Ken Johnson End Times and the Early Church Fathers, or Dr Andy Wood is also very good.
The rapture, as depicted in Theif in the Night, is straightforward. Those who have died and those who are alive are evacuated from the earth to be with Jesus Christ. Those who have been raptured come back with Christ because 'they' v.17 '....we shall always be with the Lord'. 1 Thessalonians 4 13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen [b]asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who [c]sleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are [d]asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Nothing to fear about revelation. The church will be gone before.
No, it won't be gone. We will have to go through tribulation, but we will be more than conquerors.
The Church is growing
@The book of Revelations, could the word saints elude to the Church who will receive a robe of righteousness???
