This one was pretty tough to make even 7 years later....
As you know my Father Pastor Stephen Darby of Destined Ministries died 7 years ago. Life was never the same again. This took a heavy toll on everyone but mostly me and the family. For a while I never touched bases on this story, many people kept askin me and wanted to know since they had recently found his videos after his death. I figured now would be a great time especially since I'm doin vlogs now to make a video about what i experienced from this situation.

My father was a cheater and drunk .. but the Lord told me to love him and show him the love of Jesus … I fasted for 3 days .. went to his house and he surrendered his heart to the Lord … the day he died he took his Bible laid it on his kitchen table where he always sat at.. laid down on the floor with a smile and passed away! Love covers a multitude of sins !! The Power of God is real!

Pastor Darby awakened me. I binge watch his videos. God used him to tell me that I'm a black ISRAELITE! Of ALL the thousands of preachers Mr. Darby is the only one that taught people about our heritage! In some of his sermons he said what he was teaching was placing him in danger. He was much loved! Pastor Darby was one of a kind! No one like him!! The first sermon that I heard him preach was , "Who Are We". Changed my life forever. I always wondered why we were hated so much; his sermon made perfect sense. I started binge watching all of his sermons; I watched the live Sunday morning services before going to church and I am still a partner. I was finally receiving REAL SERMONS, REAL TRUTH! Information that I had never heard before that was rightly divided. I felt taken advantage of, all theses years of being raised in church and was taught basically nothing. I fasted and prayed with the ministry to break generational curses off of me and my family. I remember so clearly when he passed away December 2017 right before the Dallas conference. I will never forget, he said in those meetings he was going to tell us what the enemy had planned for us. I believe he was going to tell us about COVID! Because of him I see the media differently, he told us that 911 was fake, that Sandy Hook was fake; because of him I see things differently. His sermons were FIRE! When people say that you are like your dad it because they can see what you sometimes cannot. The Bible says that the latter house shall be GREATER than the former house. Do you ever wonder why people that you have never met can take one look at you and dislike you or even HATE you. They don't even know you; they haven't said ONE WORD to you but yet they dislike and hate you. It is because they see greatness in you that may not be obvious to you yet. That is what people see in you. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, that greatness was passed down. To date, he is the greatest pastor that I know; however, greatness is in your DNA do not reject it. Although your earthly father cannot see what you or your siblings have and will become, the seed of greatest has been planted and your HEAVENLY FATHER sees it. Pastor Darby was cut from a different cloth. I was tired of hearing the same word and asked him to send me someone who teaches the word from a different perspective. I went on UA-cam and ended up being lead to his channel. He woke me up and got me on a higher spiritually. I listened to almost all his messages. I ended up going to the church when his wife preached. I had a lot of friends elevate due to this ministry. Bless you and your family man. You have what it takes to be the man he assisted in developing you to be in corrilation with the Most High!!! Stand strong bro!! It’s time to take things to a higher level so that he and the Most High can be pleased.
I watched a live of the church I gave my life to Jesus at last year. I went there two sundays and a Wednesday and attended a sister luncheon banquet but I realized they are one of the churches that are very in touch with the world, do so much singing, hardly convicting sermons, and it’s mostly happy and surface lvl teaching. I came back to get my word from Pastor Darby this morning then this video came up. They prayed sang made announcements collected tithes then went back to singing. I’m like GIVE ME A WORD 😭

As a 40 year old Black man at the time, I learned of Pastor Darby through a random Tic Tok. The short video lead me on an almost two year journey of learning about who we are and the true meaning of worship.
I had been in church for years but had recently left my predominantly white evangelical Pentecostal church because they were too much into Donald Trump and not King Jesus.
Pastor Darby open the path to so much truth and I ate it up. Now I have my own library of books on the topics he preached. My wife, kids and I found a new church. It's more balanced and focuses on the main thing, the Kingdom of God. My wife and are on fire and being used mightily of God.
We thank you and your family. Especially mother Darby for holding it down. I've sent your ministry a love offering in the past as a token of our appreciation.

He passed that Friday I didn’t find out until Sunday. I was getting ready for church and I logged onto the website as usual because I watch before I go to my local church. I saw it posted on the website. I broken down. I was with y’all believing for a resurrection. I never prayed so hard in my life😢. This was so hard to hear even 6 years later. That Sunday service was so powerful it came through the TV. God was with us. He felt our pain. “You’re Still a Healer”was Pastor Darby last message. He preached so hard that day. Thank you for sharing. Always praying for the Darby Family. My dad passed 10-23-23. God’s grace is sufficient is all I can say

Man. It's Sunday, July 21st, just after Joe Biden stepped down. My wife sent me this video because she knows how much I listen to your dad. He was truly one of the last days prophets. I listen to his sermons on a weekly basis, and fight spiritually based on the deep knowledge and wisdom that God placed in him.
I thank God for his life. I thank God for the ministry that he had. I am sorry for the loss of this great man of God, but take comfort in knowing that he has some major jewels in his crown for his service to God's kingdom. 🙏🏿

Even from the Grave Stephen Lamont Darby is STILL THE BADDEST PASTOR EVER !!!! I remember when my friend calling me at my overnight job telling me at 1:45am that he passed. I called the office and left a message and in two days Elder Rashad called me I couldn’t come because I had to pay for Two of my son’s College tuition.

This was the closure I didn’t know I needed. When I discovered your father in 2020, I was in deep confusion and was trying to follow the law. I kept falling and was bound under the law. Pastor Darby helped me understand obedience and the gospel of Grace. It was this that caused me to get baptized and to freely call on the name of Jesus. He is the reason, through God, that I am saved today. Thank you for sharing and I pray that God continues to heal and guide you and your family.

I was introduced to Pastor Darby by my 22 yr old daughter a couple of years ago. I watched several videos before I found out he was no longer here. I was so moved by his messages I was extremely sad to hear that. I teared up listening to this because this was a tremendous loss. Pastor Darby truly left a legacy in you and your family, as well as all around the globe. He is GREATLY missed. I wish I could've met him in person. I watched that video you mentioned, the last sermon he preached. He did know he was going to pass, he spoke how he knew.
I was saved 4 years ago, at the age of 27. I was not raised Christian, nor did I know any. When I was saved I knew most churches were ran more like a business then a true relationship and so I didn’t know what to do, I prayed to God for answers, I needed a pastor, I needed understanding and I found your dads videos. I still binge watch them to this day, I rewatch them and get new words every time. To this day I don’t know how I found a pastor from louisville and I’m from East Los Angeles. But I know it was God, I know God spoke through him and to this day I have not found a pastor like your dad.
I attend a church but I still study your dads words because there is none like it.

I feel like this was a closure that many of us needed. I always thought of Pastor Darby’s kids. I found your dad’s videos in 2020 during the beginning of C19. I worked in a hospital and spent my whole shifts going in and out of the Covid rooms. I would have my ear pod in and listening to Pastor Darby. He gave me a sense of peace while gaining knowledge. At that time I didn’t know that he had already passed years before because his messages was spot on for the future. I was hurt when I realized. Gods timing is not like our timing and I am forever grateful for the fact that our paths still crossed even after death. You are such a great example of what leaving a legacy behind looks like. Brother, your dad's sermons are still saving people's lives! His sermons helped me tremendously! So even though he has gone to be with The Lord, his legacy is still working. I remember when he said in one of his sermons, (paraphrasing here) "The reason why we have to wait to get our reward together, is because even when you die, your work will still be making an impact on people". He mentioned how The Apostle Paul's writings are still saving people even after thousands of years. Thanks for sharing this! There were so many different stories out there.

My parents have 9 children 6 baptized in Pentecostal church, I was the driver for the family I take them to various churches across the island where I from which is Jamaica..🇯🇲 and I had never cry at any of those church services..
I came to the USA 🇺🇸 in 2009, got married started going to church with my wife she was a member of Episcopalian church I visited with her but things just didn’t feel right for me..

Your dad had a sermon called “Send Judah First!” I woke up, a few months pregnant out of my sleep, went to UA-cam and that was the first video I saw. SEND JUDAH FIRST! My oldest two are Julian Ellis and Julius Ethan. My youngest is Judah Emmanuel. I got his name from that sermon. Pastor Darby’s passing is an unimaginable loss. My family grieved and still think about him. I can’t imagine how you feel! God used your dad to bless our family. My dad actually put me on to him. I take care of my dad now and there no words to describe the honor and respect that I have for him. You’re his spitting image. He passed the torch, go finish the race ♥️
I can't imagine how you feel. I never met your father and he still raised me spiritually more than nearly any man on the planet. This man was a prophet and 2024 I STILL am learning from him.

Hey man I felt this. I am your Hebrew brother at 38 yrs old. I lost my mother and older sister in the same year when I was 25 years old. It hurts to this day like it was yesterday. I never cried out to the lord so much. Things has never been the same since she has been gone. She never saw me get into medical school, become a doctor, get married or have my first child. It hurts typing these words. I am just glad she was a great example. I stumbled upon your dad's videos in 2015 while I was still in medical school. I called him my pastor even though I was far away. He shed light on things I knew ( Who are we) and so much more that I didn't know. I learned so much from him that prepared me for madness 2019 and beyond. When I heard he passed in 2017, I was shooked to my core. I couldn't believe it. I just found him. I was planning to take a trip to his church. I admired him .I wish I had his discipline and work ethic for the lord like him. I downloaded a lot of his videos, play it on repeat, and share it with my family. I thank the lord for him, you and his family. I donated to the ministry but will donate again. Shalom brother. It would be great for brothers around our age to get together and support each other in these dark times. It's almost that time. We are at the end of the book.

Young man, Your father was a tremendous man of God and he personally changed my life. Pastor Darby, thumbs up, is the single most influential preacher of this generation ever to speak REAL truth with no boundaries and he wasn't fearful of no consequences of the powers that be. He covered just about every topic concerning issues within the Black church and the Black community. He wasn't bought or paid for by corporate interest to dumb down the masses or water down the message. I love him so much and he will be missed. He was a great father and big brother figure to us young men today. He taught me how to be a true man and love God, family, and making a difference in the community. Lastly, he showed us who we are as true Hebrews and watching out for all the New World Order booby traps. He was a prophet's prophet and was Holy Spirit driven. My mom watched your dad every morning on UA-cam. I never paid too much attention to him until she died back in 2022. After that, your dad’s videos started popping up on my TikTok and UA-cam, which I’m sure was not a coincidence. I started watching him, and brotha when I say your dad has saved my life. He woke me up to so much in my life, and my relationship with God has gotten so much better. Your dad was truly anointed. I understand losing a parent is very hard as I’m still grieving my mom’s death. Your dad’s teachings have carried me so much through this process. Rest easy to a true man of God, Pastor Darby. Pastor Darby was like an uncle that I never met. I found his teachings in 2024 and let me tell you, your father was RARE. I'm not religious but I'm very spiritual and I gravitated towards his teachings because he broke things down in a way that even a child could understand.
