Thank you! Speaking of the editing, I was thinking quite a bit about the boring detector we were talking about in your Patreon chat. Pulled out the old "fake zoom" trick a few times because of it. Suddenly much more tempted to upgrade to 4K because of that...
OMG so glad I found this video going to do myself looks nice and easy although I will make a wooden screen surround for mounting. Thanks for the idea. >> Neil from South Australia )
Thank you! The camera and monitor are still working great. The stand, however, snapped! So it's currently gaffer-taped in placed. Works OK but do need to fabricate an actual stand for better visibility.
@@AndrewReuter another update. I've been mowing for 3 weeks using it and it's great. I 3d printed an adjustable stand for it and zip tied all the cables underneath so it's very discreet. Camera is held on just below hitch w 2 zip ties and has no wobble. I can see tires so I can navigate around hazards and curbs.
Hey Michael, 8 months later... Do you remember what stand you 3D printed for the monitor? I might do a follow up video and will give you a shout out either way but was curious what you found. Hope it’s still working well for you!
I don't have a lawnmower because I don't have a lawn to mow but I still enjoyed watching every minute of this video. Very good idea and execution!

Wow! That's a much needed safety device that should be on all mowers. Great dyi.
Thank you! Agreed!
Good stuff Andrew. Your channel keeps getting better and better, keep it up!
Thanks for the kind words Joe! And glad to see your new videos! I’m with you, there’s always so much junk to do... 😁
You would think this should be required by law on all riding mowers with how many accidents happen.

Cool
Very cool setup! How is it running in year 2?

@@AndrewReuter oh that's good. I sprung for the nicer camera like you got vs one of the cheaper ones that are on eBay. Thanks for the video!

Can you do some more 3d printing videos please
You bet! Will be getting the 3D printer in the works again soon!
@@AndrewReuter thank you
