  • In this video I give you my first impressions of the Columbia Pebble Peak Down Hooded Puffer Jacket with the Omni-Heat™ Infinity technology. Prior to making this video, I tested the jacket on a wind swept mountain and on some dog walks. The RRP is £225.
Omni-Heat™ Infinity jackets have tiny gold dots that reflect your body heat, keeps you warmer, longer, so you can stay outside forever.
Please note that I was sent the jacket for, in return for an unbiased honest review.

I’ve had one of these columbia jackets with the omni heat, shiny look is a bit meh but my god does it keep you warm. I can stand still for 5-6 hours in a row training clients outdoors mid winter and stay super warm. Also worn it out on hikes and wild camps, been spot on!

Great wee video mate, I’m an advocate for these jackets. Admittedly I don’t have my own but I was worried taking my 5 year old boy out in colder conditions so I bought him the kids version with the orange colour inside. It’s truly outstanding, keeps him so warm no matter what and he looks like a proper little hillwalker too. It’s replaced a heavier Decathlon jacket and another layer so he moves rapid too. Not long before he’s beating me so I’ll def blame the jacket 😂

Nice one Stewart, I'll mention that to my sister. My nephew is 5 in a couple of months and his winter jacket was seriously bulky and restrictive for him. Have you had your lad on the hills yet? Start them young and all that. 😁

@@WalkWithWallace Absolutely mate, my girl 8 and boy 5 have all the kit and walk year round with me in the Lammers and Pentlands, sometimes Borders. Wee guy who’s 2 is getting into it but just Traprain Law and the Forest walks for him so far. We go to Pressmennan and Butterdean woods often. They like a camp too, usually Dunbar or Ruberslaw in the bigger tent. Don’t get me wrong they like a soft play and the trampoline places but they get a lot more from the outdoors. Muggins carries the rucksack of course. Don’t underestimate the weight of 9 fruit shoots 🤣🤣.

Wear a t shirt under it as its really silly warm but can get a wee bit sweaty in there and cold if you stop walking.
