The Juach grandfather clock sounds like an actual bell tower keep up the good work!! 😁 9:35 Another favorite of mine from your collection is that bim bam wall clock by gustav becker at 7:43
Fabulous collection, well done. The 2 x 'bim-bam-bom' ones are most unusual and a great idea. Yes, the longcase clock with chain drive and the deep W/M chime sounds fabulous. The one with slightly out of tune chimes is pretty okay as it is actually, as I've heard far worse.
Thank you so much!! It’s amazing seeing it grow and being able to restore everything myself makes everything that much better. I’ve also heard worse chimes, however the musical ear is as unforgiving as ever!
Awesome collection!! I have a lot of clocks like you have. I have 4 Bim Bam Bom clocks, one sounds exactly like yours. Love seeing more of your collection!
4?!?!? That’s amazing! I have the only 2 i’ve ever seen for sale, but one of them was a surprise gift and I thought I had missed out on it. Let me know if there are any clock that you think I should make a separate video on.
@@Brooks_Adams Yeah! I have 2 Mauthe with 7 rods, an Urgos grandfather clock with 6 rods and a 3 rod HAC that matches the sound to yours which you prefer over the decorative. I'd be a pleasure to see more of your grandfather clock, the bim bam bom's, bim bam box ones and the Kienzle westminster tambour. I actually have one that matches the sound to it, Kienzle is a very well known German brand that also had a factory and market in New York. I also have plenty of different bim bam regulator box clocks, also a few VERY nice and unusual sounding ones!!
It's so lovely to see a video from another clock collector who likes so many of the same clocks I like! Those Trinity chiming Celebrates really are exquisite, aren't they? I managed to fine one last year, though it isn't quite as nice as yours, being a later example. Your Junghans dual chimer was quite lovely as well... All the Junghans clocks were, really. Anyways, I'll quit gushing now, but thanks for sharing!
I appreciate that a ton, it’s so nice to know there are others out there that appreciate chime clocks as much as I do. I love the hac clocks and junghans clocks, and I love the variety of different chimes and strike sequences they made. Those celebrates are something else. It took me about 5 years to get one but I was lucky to get a beauty!
My granddad has been collecting junghans clocks for the past 20 years or so. He has around 20 or 30 total now here is the link to the video I made years back (yes I know it’s awful recording) ua-cam.com/video/2u5RIg3bElM/v-deo.html
Beautiful collection, especially the Trinity Chime clocks and the grandfather. I have a grandfather clock that has the same chime rods and movement like yours surprisingly, but mine is marked Mauthe and with a round head case.
Marvelous video. One day I hope to also own a Junghans wall clock with Trinity Chimes. It's my favorite chime melody, and the pitches used for the Junghans wall clocks (as well as their strike) is my favorite set of pitches in which to hear it.
Yeah trinity is the best there is no doubt about it. I’m so lucky and so grateful to have 1 let alone 2 in the house. If you look long and hard on ebay and other websites one will turn up. they are hard to find but not impossible
Very nice presentation and for the benefit and information of you and others who view this, there are actually words for the Westminster melody and they are below if you want to look them over while listening or sing along, particularly with the one that is heard at the 9:38 mark. Lord, through this hour, be Thou our guide. So, by Thy power, no foot shall slide.
Your collection is so cool! Many of these clocks are not at all easy to find. Also, small question. Where did you find the first shown HAC bim-bam-bom box clock? I really love it and I'm searching for one.
I got the first one as a gift from someone, and I got the second from an antique store that specializes in antique clocks. These bim bam bom clocks aren’t easy to find, however they pop up every once in a while
Beautiful clock collection ❤❤❤❤❤.

I agree. It does indeed sound like the clock in the tower of a building such as a church or city hall.
You have such an amazing collection! So many wonderful and rare clocks! I’m also a clock collector!
Nyehehe can’t hide from me lmao
@@SnowstormsAntiqueslolololol 😭. I commented on this TWO years AGO. Bruh
@@JJs_Horological_Collection 2 years. you hid for a while. But I eventually find ya HAHA
Beautiful sounds!

I have that round top junghans but it’s in very rough shape and that Chime set is very difficult to find! Bottom will have to be rebuilt!

The one in the video is a Mauthe. Same exact clock can be seen in one of my videos.

I think the clock at 5:55 is a Gustav Becker because it has a single note strike although junghans could also have used Single note strikes as well
