I love mill so it’s good to see it do well! I just wish I could have put on a better show with alliance rather than being a complete brick in game 2 🧱 😂
Funny that you ended it up on "going crazy" since that's exactly what milling is in Magic The Gathering, flavorwise.

What a cool way to do mill, where it affects both decks. Adds a really fun risk to the strategy. Very fun game to watch!!
Yeah you always play it defensively knowing you should be able to deck them out before you deck yourself out. I say that like I’m the mill player but I was the victim in this case 😂😂

I built the chaos/creepymon deck and tries it at locals this week... I didn't do well with it as I just threw it together last night so I'm still learning the interactions

@Ducethedragon my daughter just built that lol she said she had a ton of fun testing it at our locals last night. She went 2-1 for the night and it was her first night testing it so I'm pretty impressed by it!
Cool to see new decks in action. Hopefully we get another vid later of alliance deck that gets the tamer out earlier/doesn't brick game 2.
Oh yeah, I’ve been testing the list against a few decks and I think I’m getting some of the ratios down now! A second video might have to come out to actually show the deck off 😅

Lots of good decks around at the moment so it’s a good time to get into it. You can play online or on table top sim too if you don’t have a local scene to join in on regularly :D

I felt the pain lf hard dropping the Blackmegagargomon, but I probably would have done the same cursing at myself for loving the terriermon line. But still nobody will take it from me.

I love alliance, I've played it ever since the reveals of the cards in Jp format, and I can tell you a couple of good ideas: Virus cherubi has to be the main lv.6, as it allows your stack to stay alive even if it gets deleted, via returning from trash. The purple line is the strongest, from the lv4 to the lv.6. I maxed it out and it does wonders. The yellow line is the second best one, but you may replace the yellow lv.5 with mastertyrannomon for more aggression and combo potential. Also, the deck needs Mimi and KenDavis to get to its maximum potential, as they both accelerate the speed at which you can do damage, which is your ultimate goal. "Gain 1 memory when you play a green tamer" terriermon is also a very nice addition, as it helps you mitigate the cost to hard play these tamers, but also henry and suu. Finally, Heaven's judgement is really strong, and can be combined with ruin mode or vaccine cherubi for an explosive couple of DP r eductions. It's also your way out of though spots. Argomon as a secondary egg is fantastic for memory gain, and 3 green memory boosts make the deck more reliable, especially when it comes to get your explosive turn. Hope this helps!

If you dont mind a question, have you had any experience with the BT8 blackwargrowlmon? The one the sacrifices a creature to unsuspended allowing you 4 checks in one turn? Would you consider that one a worthy addition?

@@alledzebu1975the problem with that Is you can only evo It on top of 4 of your lv4s, so it's tricky. Also, Alliance doesn't let you Keep the dp and sec+1, so you'd Need another Digimon to suspend in order to get another sec+1. It's Better to run the purple option that deletes One of your Digimon to unsuspend another and costs One, but again, not Always Will you be able to activate it

Yeah you can! So long as you can meet the normal requirement you can use it instead of the alternative 😁 worked out well being able to choke me at 1 time and time again 🫠

The main change needed in my opinion for alliance would be if the DP increase and sec+ lasted until the end of your opponents turn. As it is, alliance ends up leaving a whole bunch of low DP digi's on field suspended and ready to be deleted by your opponent as soon as it passes back. Or maybe if the main digimon from alliance couldn't be attacked unless the suspended digimon they aligned with was first deleted? Even that wouldn't be great, but it would give the deck a bit more protection at least. Regardless, great content as always!
I feel like the Alliance buff lasting longer than it does now would lead to easy "Unsuspend, do a second attack but also I activate Alliance again so it's XDP and 3 Checks" scenarios. Bit too strong imo.
@@Zubagon true, perhaps alliance then could’ve had the condition that the Digimon can’t unsuspend for the turn when using alliance?
They really have tried to figure proof the deck, the tamer is so restrictive it feels like a trap playing it🪤 but I still like the deck it’s just you do have to play it in a very specific way and it doesn’t always feel great… maybe some support in the future will smooth it all out 😅
That's what Purple Cherubi and Black Mega Gargo are for, the problem is when you pass turn evolving into level 5 instead of just evolving in raising to 4 waiting 1 more turn, then you kind of screwed yourself
@@Marianoejar I’ve definitely found just waiting and playing safe for a little while is the best option! Tried the yellow cherubimon but I don’t like it as much. Seems hard to facilitate it’s so reduction effects :/

If you play Lopmon you can play a lot of good cards.
Ex-02 Lopmon gives you recover, Shu-Chong allows you to play lopmons for free. It also gives you access to blinding ray and all the busted Yellow tamers.

Yeah it can be a bit bricky but it can get the job done! I do like the focus more on the yellow support :)

Playing Alliance Gargomon myself, I noticed that the deck has a bit of a niche way to play it.
You'll want to focus on evolving your breeding area to champion at least, get henry or the new tamer and an ultimate to evolve into. It def does better going second because you can evolve into 4 for 2 then place the opponent at 3 with your tamers.
Then next turn summon a level 3, play the breeding area digimon and alliance into an ultimate for cheap then hopefully go into black mega gargomon cause that thing is a beast
Are you allowed to choose not to use the black box digivolution cost?
Yeah if you can meet the requirement of the normal cost you can use it, it just generally costs more but that can be used to your advantage! 😁
This is why I replaced the dual tamer with 3 copies of BT11 Taiga (as well as 2 copies of BT11 Tyranno to play him for free but I'm not sold on them tbh) and added 3 copies of EX2 02-Searcher for my Alliance deck
Taiga essentially means when you use Alliance you'll double up on his +1k so instead of being 8k+1k you'll be 9k+2K so you're much more likely to survive the attack while simultaneously still being able to evo for free and it's not as painful to play since he's one cost less.
Searcher you can always play for 1 cost to enable your alliance while also adding another colour for Heaven's Judgement if needed

My friend use it, and He'll swing for 20+ K on turn 3.
Not to mention, Your opponent would have a harder time to remove It from play due to It being unaffected by other card's effect.

Yeah the mother egg is a very cool variant! I’m going to try it soon I just wanted to see what I could do with a more “intended” version first. And what I can do I get bullied by mill apparently 😂

You do realize in the first digivolve was already a mistake. That digivolve cost wasn't a may effecct, it just happens. So it should have been a 0 cost
It’s an alternate cost so you can actually choose to use a the normal cost if you meet the conditions.
Checked the rulings on this one to be sure and you absolutely can utilise this to choke your opponent to 1 like mine did in this game 😁
That growlmon is on deletion effect, not an on digivolve. That Digimon should not have been deleted. 0:50
That’s my bad actually the card was corrected after release but I didn’t put up the corrected card. It should be when digivolving as per the errata on the digimon card game website.

Correct me if I’m wrong but when he trashed the guilmon he activated it’s “on deletion” effect but doesn’t this only activate when the card was deleted from battle, not trashed from the deck cause I’m pretty sure getting deleted and trashed are two different things so getting shouldn’t have been able to activate that? Sorry if I missed something or just didn’t notice something else

I saw a Alliance Deck that used Mother D-Reaper as egg. But I am not sure if you can suspend it with Alliance.

@sleepydruid100 Since Mother D Reaper has Dp greater than 0 when it enters the battle area, it's treated as a digimon
You absolutely can use Mother as an egg for alliance! It’s a super cool variant and that you can play but I understand why you wouldn’t think it would work. They had a special errata/Q&A to say that it’s treated as a digimon not a digi egg once it’s in the battle area 😁

Try running mother d reaper in alliance. Its amazing to give yourself a ton of dp

@@TheSqueakyMoose you still want to have at least 3 of the kokomon since you still want to digivolve and such, then run two mother d reapers. it cant be affected by opponents effects but you can affect it, so you keep it on the field just to suspend for alliance

The very first one got deleted by the when digivolving effect of the growlmon, something I should have played around 😅
