In this match, ShinMonzae definitely low-rolled on Security (if you look at the decklist at the end, it usually gets 1 or 2 unrigged free attackers from Security) but it didn't matter since Crimson Mode blew everything away anyway. The deck definitely needs more support than what it received in RB-01, and against a well-supported archetype like Gallant, it was mostly defeated in this matchup during playtesting. Still though, it was definitely fun to practice and pilot (especially that DOUBLE COOTIES KICK) and I really hope it gets more dedicated support in BT-14! Like seriously, first we need another Lv.5 that gives SA+ to make up for ShinMonzae helping the opponent recover (Waru is such a dead card) and another Lv.6 that adds more speed/strategies. I'm pretty conflicted on the colour though, all because Monzae and ShinMonzae are pure Yellow. If the new support keeps up this pure Yellow trend, the deck will most likely have to adopt a Yellow engine for consistency (I can finally run Yellow Memory Boost!). But that means it will lose all the Security shenanigans Black has access to which I feel is what makes the deck work (barely) in its current form. They could also maintain the approach of keeping the Lv.5+s pure Yellow while the Lv.4s and under are at least half-Black, expecting us to hard play the Lv.5s like Monzae, but that still feels a bit clunky. However, with all the weird Numemon subspecies, I'm sure the deck will see new cards eventually!
Well, if the leaks are correct with Adventure, I could see more support for this deck come. If the designers want to separate Sukamon from Numemon, I think they’re going to go a weird direction with the monzaemon cards being yellow mostly and the Numemon cards being mostly black since the alternate evo condition of Shinmonzaemon alludes to ignoring colour. The Numemon and Monzaemon X duo could happen. But, as a Cyber sleuth fan, we need our MVP PlatinumNumemon.
@@rustmarrow Thank you. Frankly, I could also see Numemons branching out to different dual colours but only slightly. For instance, Shellnumemon and BlackKingNumemon could be Black and Blue to reflect their more mollusk nature.

Shinmonzaemon did all the controlling of the board while Chaosgallant was controlling those decks. That mill engine for guilmon is ruthless the crimson mode was a mercy killing. Imagine how humiliating it would have been for the shinmonzaemon to lose by deck out.
I really thought, during that final turn, that ChaosGallantmon would take the win by mill... I'm sure it could have. But Crimson Mode is absurd, and even better here than in classic Gallantmon. Monzaemon and friends put up a heck of a fight though.
Yep for sure. BWG could have just gone into Megidra to trash 5. And if Monzae had dropped a small body to prevent that, BWG would have an easier target to delete to open the path to Crimson
3:00 wait, can you attack even with Security -1 without doing damage? I thought that you can't attack Security with the Security -1 or lower, that means that you can activate "when attacking" effects even when you got Security -1, -2 etc?

Thanks for the amazing content, I just have one question though, when you digivolved into guilmon (x antibody), you should have lost the rush that comes from EX4 Guilmon right ? 9:20
No, the is gained by "the Digimon for the turn", so it keeps it even if it evolves. It would only lose it if the was a keyword in EX4 Guilmon's main text
Yellow base shin is way more consistent in my testing. Tactical retreat is really good for putting security rookies to sec. Shinegreymon ruin mode is a solid lvl 7 since you can potentially minus 8k dp to your opponents board on their turn. And the yellow dual tamers really synergize with shin.
some questions for the ChaosDukemon deck: 1. Isn't like 3 Crimson Mode a little bit too much? Since you can basically get it back from the trash using BlackGrowlmon? 2. After some play testing, I found it that BT12 WarGrowlmon is hard to use since you would usually end up giving your opponent too many memory 3. Would running Death Slinger be a better option than running Red Memory Boost? I tend to notice that it get trashed most of the time by milling effect 4. Seeing your deck doesn't run cards that trash from hand, is there any plan or ideas on how to get rid of ChaosGallantmon if it end up in your hand?
1. I originally only ran 2, but I felt it wasn't enough cos Crimson is your wincon - Megidra/Chaos are only for setup/controlling the board until you're ready to Crimson. Even if you can recycle, it's not rare for your 2 Crimsons to end up in the bottom half of the deck (like in this match). Also for Crimson looping back into Chaos into another Crimson next turn. 2. I don't really find that an issue since its inheritable and multiple Takatos can mitigate it. Also, the evolve effect is optional so you shouldn't force it unless you're expecting a lot of advantage in return. I see a number of Japanese players running it too, but you can definitely go for WarGrowl X instead. 3. Death Slinger would defo be a nice addition but I prefer a search card like RMB cos for my build at least, ChaosGallant is a dead draw so reaching Megidra asap is very important. In terms of it getting trashed, well you can say that about all the cards in the deck. 4. This build just goes all in in hoping that it trashes 1 ChaosGallant from topdeck. With 3, I feel it's relatively consistent enough. The Guil/Growl/Gallant archetype has many good cards with tribal evolution conditions so I wanted to avoid having to pay more just for running some Purple tech to trash ChaosGallant from hand. Also, based on my testing, the deck is capable of winning even without using the ChaosGallant combo so if I brick into too many in hand, I'll just fight with Megidra and Crimson Mode. *But take note that for my videos I mainly make casual/lore-based builds rather than competitive builds so I go out of my way to keep the decks 'within-archetype'
I'm really curious did CG had another thing to trash the last remaining card in monzaemon deck? So he could just pass turn and win by monzaemon not having anything to draw
