Just get a friend of yours to buy you the cosplays or something. Have them keep them in the box and give it to you at school or something. That’s what I always do. Once you get them, just pretend they’re books or something. If you want to go to a convention, try to find a friend of yours that your parents are fine with you going on a trip with then go to the convention with them. If you’re worried about the actual cosplay part and they’ll let you go to the convention, say it was a gift or you’re borrowing it.

If your parents are fine with it, use CosplaySky as well as it sells primarily anime cosplays! 6.Always try to look for cosplays in thrift stores as well, I found a really good Monokuma hoodie and Panty wig at a GoodWill a couple of weeks ago. 7.If you’re cosplaying someone from an anime that involves killing, MAKE SURE TO USE PROPS AS WEAPONS! I suggest looking in Halloween stores if it’s that time or year. 8.If you can’t buy official cosplays, try to get as close as you can get using your normal clothes. As a matter of fact, I made a KILLER Panty Anarchy cosplay only using stuff I had at home and I’m in the process of finishing up a Rin Kagamine cosplay. 9.Try to find someone who already cosplays to let you borrow certain things (wigs, props, cosplays, contacts if you’re really close) 10.Ask that friend to give you more tips!
